Valley Isle Dry Cleaning Laundry and Valet

Terrible service. This is where Green Earth Cleaners in Maui takes their laundry 25 minutes across town to be done … eco conscious? I think not! It’s an hour round trip on the road just to get the laundry from the Maui store where they don’t actually do any cleaning to this cleaners in Kahului. Mimi runs both businesses and is terribly unprofessional. My clothes were washed and ruined recently and when I called to alert owner Mimi about the incident she blamed me. Not sure how I could have hurt the clothing … it was in a sealed bag and I called hours after pickup to report the problem, but some people are more worried about money than service and she was obviously worried she would have to either fix our clothes or pay for them to be replaced … she wouldn’t do either, she didn’t even say she was sorry. My kids were actually crying when we went through the bag because many of the things ruined were their special clothes we bought for vacation. She didn’t care, didn’t take responsibility and told me a fluff and fold service is not guaranteed and I am supposed to know that sometimes things get ruined and that’s the «risk I take using fluff and fold service». I couldn’t believe she could be so cold. She didn’t even refund the money I spent to have my clothes ruined in the first place. She is obviously a crazy person. Do not trust this service! The owner herself will tell you fluff and fold is risky and driving their laundry all the way across the island shows their lack of concern for the beautiful island Maui. Green Earth organic cleaning service is using the name to be trendy, it isn’t eco conscious at all. It’s a shame because one of the employees was really kind to me and I think she really felt bad for the situation. Mimi is obviously running the show there and wouldn’t allow anything to be done.

I needed to get my suit dry cleaned and back in 1 day. I found this dry cleaner on Unilocal and it was nearby. (there is Maui Speciality Chocolate next door!) I dropped off the suit, they only charged a small fee for next day turn around by noon, and they gave me a receipt.
Next day, suit was clean and ready as promised!
They also do mending.
This is my go to place when in Kahului!
