Fantastic service. I came in with having my nails done previously from another salon back home where I’m from. I am here on vacation and hadn’t been happy with how messy my nails looked from the person I saw last time. So I went in to tips and toes in hopes of finding someone skilled enough to fix my nails. Not only did the she fix my nails, but they look gorgeous! They feel more durable and they looks so amazing. And her prices were super competitive. I wish I lived her in Hawaii so that I can continue going there. I would recommend this salon any day!

First time getting mani or pedi done, but since it was for my cousin’s wedding I figured now would be a good time for a first time. My nails lasted a REALLY long time without chipping, I was surprised. When I do home-​manis I’ll usually at least see cracks by the 2^nd or 3^rd day. Even now, I still have my toes colored, got a few little chips after stubbing my toes so many times but other than that and my nails growing out, it looks just about as it did when I had it done!

Everytime I come here the service is exceptional. I love the way noriko treats her clientele. Always respectful. All her staff are wonderful and we have a great time. I had messed up my recent polish and needed a touch up and it was quick to get in. She always goes beyond the call to give the best service she can offer.

it was my first time getting a pedi and I was very excited. Tori was my nail tech and she did a fantastic job on my pedi. she was very attentive to doing them how I wanted, I even had little dirts stuck on the edges of my nails that was really hard to get off and she took the time to get them clean out and painlessly. Another great thing about my pedi was the Kona coffee sugar scrub, It was nice and relaxing. last but not least getting a massage :)
Overall a great experience for my first time, great service and I highly recommend tips n’ toes.

I have been going to Tips & Toes since they opened because I know that I will get the best possible manicure & pedicure on the Island of Hawaii and possibly the U.S.A! I have routinely been getting a French shellac manicure which last at least 3 weeks! I don’t have a lot of time to sit around getting my nails done so this is the bomb diggety! Plus the massage chairs are new, the place is clean and I adore Noriko. What else could you ask for?

I was referred to Tips & Toes by a friend and could not have been more pleased. They were very welcoming and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. I received the deluxe pedicure, and manicure. I loved the Kona Coffee sugar scrub that they make there in the salon and the hot stones are to die for! Such an excellent touch to any pedicure!
On my way out I found a few cut outfits, perfect for my night out! I’ll be back soon!

I was the bride of the wedding party of the previous person who reviewed about her manicure.. My pedicure was great and the owner did a great job on my toes. I felt bad for my friend who got the botched nail job because she wanted to look special for the event. Even though she waited a long time for her nails to dry, the polish wouldn’t set up after several hours. When it was brought to the owner’s attention she wouldn’t refund my friend the money she spent for the manicure which would have been the right thing to do. Instead she blamed my friend for messing up her manicure. I would not use this salon again.

A group of four women went here to prepare for a wedding the same day based on a referral from the wedding planner. Unfortunately they cannot give the 5 star review given by others.
In general the pedicures were good and the foot and leg massages were nice.
There were four in the wedding party and two were disappointed with their nails. All in the bridal party were surprised they did not use a heat lamp or other method to dry their nails. It seems logical to use a method of drying being the humidity and heat on Hawaii.
Everyone thought it odd that the nail person had to put a thinner in the bottle, then when she was done she threw the bottle in the waste basket. After this she pulled it out and gave the discarded bottle to the customer. If it was so bad that she had to throw a bottle in the trash why would she then give it to a customer. It was obviously a bad bottle!
The owner said that that my wife «messed up her nails before she left» which is offensive because — The salon did not dry the nails and she had to go into her purse to get money! OMG if they were properly dried it would not have been an issue and this review would be entirely different. The nail person put acetone on them to fix them. The pictures in this review show what the nails looked like after only one hour and my wife did NOT touch them during that time.
The party left the salon as there was a sunset wedding. The nail person said someone would call back the next day. We went back on Tuesday and the salon was closed for personal reasons. Which is fine… everyone has things to take care, we all hope all is well for them.
It would have been simpler if the salon did the right thing, the professional thing by refunding the botched nail job, as she said she would do in an email. But of course she has not done so.

Wow! I am so glad I found this nail salon in Kona! Getting your nails done is an experience and Tips and Toes brings the whole package. They have the cutest décor and are very talented artists. I will definitely be going back as a regular! :)

Was in need of a mani and found tips & toes on Unilocal based on previous reviews and I must say I had a very nice experience. I was the only one there at that time, so it was nice and quiet. Noriko was very friendly and good at what she does. I had the gel set and I love them! She also massaged my arms and hands at the end which was very nice and made me feel relaxed. Would recommend to anyone! They also offer 5% discount if you check in on Unilocal

Wedding parties, or parties of any kind can have their events at Tips and Toes, not sure of the fees. You can bring your own drinks and pupus too.
The Boutique offers an array of dresses and shirts for the ladies. Cute tutu’s for the little ladies. Purses, hand crafted jewelry and hats too. Prices are great for a boutique!

This salon was fantastic. The owner Noriko was very knowledgable about her craft and how to provide a sanitary experience. She was so friendly and accommodating. You truly got the feeling that she takes immense pride in her work. I highly recommend this nail salon.

I was visiting from California and needed a pedi, and found this darling little place on Unilocal.It was really close to where I was staying, but kind of hard to find because of very little signage. Hopefully they get their banner up soon! Miyumi (sorry about the spelling) was so sweet and did a beautiful job on my well overdone toes. She also does 3D art that looked amazing! Mahalo

Though new to her business, the owner of this lovely space was a delight. She gave my girlfriend beautiful vacation nails and had great local food ideas. Hands down fantastic.
