Chris’s Tile and Natural Stone

From the initial consultation to the final clean up, Chris did everything on time with flawless execution. We had a 250 sq. ft. outdoor covered upstairs lanai resurfaced and some other miscellaneous work done. Chris and his crew showed up early every day and worked all day long to complete the job before the threatening storm was going to hit. They kept the house and the worksite spotless and their craftsmanship was excellent. I shopped around, and although Chris was not the lowest price he wasn’t the highest priced either. And he used more and better materials to make sure the lanai surface was well waterproofed so we wouldn’t have problems down the line. The question I always ask myself after a job like this is completed is, knowing what I know now, would I use this contractor again? ABSOLUTELY YES. I will keep Chris on my short list of reliable contractors to use again and recommend to friends.

Chris just completed our backyard remodeling project and we are very happy. We have no complaints at all. He took up the awful futura stone that was killing our feet, put down the new stone, and it is beautiful. We interviewed and requested quotes from four contractors. His quote was second to the cheapest (to be fair, the cheapest one had a bad record with the DCCA), and he was prompt and responsive to our questions. He finished on time and slightly under budget (that’s the first time that has ever happened to us, lol). He also cleaned and sealed our stone at the front of the house and it looks like new.

Monday evening after Easter weekend we got a call from Chris Cote. Over the past few months he was made aware of my original Unilocal rating and comments. He decided that he needed to make things right with us. On Tuesday we received him back to our home where he noted the areas that were not done to our satisfaction. On Wednesday he returned with supplies and man power to complete ALL of our concerns. He returned on Thursday to be sure we are completely satisfied and stated that he is determined to come back if we notice anything that needs repair (most especially the pool coping falling off again). He is sincere and apologized many times over for his negligence. He asked for our forgiveness and we (who have been forgiven much) extended it to him. We consider the past… the past. He has totally regained our trust and respect. I did not want to delete my original post, because it was true and we want you to know that Chris has made everything right. It only took him 9 years to get back to us. He has restored our faith in him and we would use him and recommend him. He is a changed man.
