Kailua Mini Storage

When I first moved to the area I needed a place to receive mail while I was looking for a permanent residence and after checking different mailbox options Kailua mini storage was by far the cheapest place and you don’t have to sign up for a long term commitment. Along with being a good price option the staff is very friendly and helpful. I don;‘t have a mailbox there anymore but I do use them for all my shipping to the mainland.
I would highly recommend Kailua Mini Storage.

Maka, I’m not saying the staff isn’t kind, or that their in-​store customer service isn’t good.
I’m saying that those three employees should know better than to park in the few spaces available for customer parking. The remaining parking spaces are not sufficient for the hundreds of people who have storage units and mailboxes there.
It’s a fundamental aspect of customer service.
Your experience in finding «ample parking» while the three employee vehicles are parked there must mean that you are going there when they have no more than one or two other customers.
That hasn’t been my experience. If someone’s using the lift when the three employees are parked there, you can’t park in the lot.
Anyone who’s ever worked in retail should know that well-​run businesses do not allow their employees to use the parking spaces closest to the store, as that creates an inconvenience for their customers.
By parking in the few available spaces, the employees are, in effect, saying that their convenience getting in getting from their car to work is more important than their customers’ convenience in patronizing the business.
That’s not good customer service.

I am very impressed with Kailua Mini Storage. I’ve been a customer for the last 10 years and the staff has always been so kind and if I had a question or concern they helped me right away. Every time I arrive to check my P. O box there is ample parking spaces available. I almost always forget my key, yet they are always happy to help me. The prices are so affordable sometimes I forget I even have to make a payment.
Friendly staff, welcoming environment and exceptional customer service.

These guys are awesome. Dina and Brian are always so helpful when you have questions, I always find myself staying a bit longer when I pick up my mail to talk story. There prices are reasonable and there locally owned. If I ever need storage Ill come here most definitely.

I got a mailbox here before I even arrived in Hawaii. Actually, of this writing, I still haven’t and I won’t for a few more months. Great customer service, mail forwarding, and I haven’t even stepped into the store yet.

I have rented a mailbox here for over the past year. The rates are much MUCH better than what you get at one of those UPS stores, and the service here is 300% better. They can also accept all packages (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc) and registered/​certified mail for you unlike a PO Box. Everyone is super friendly and after a while knew me by name and immediately handed me my packages almost before I even got my mailbox open to give them the package slip. You can have 24hr access to your mailbox (not packages though — but they are open 7 days a week), it’s temperature controlled, and you get superb service with a genuine smile. This place is great.

These guys have been great to us over the years. Fair pricing and GREAT customer service with a smile is what these guys excel at and do a good job of training their employees to share this same level of service. If you want a personable and helpful place to store your stuff or get your mail. This is the place. Aloha

I got a mailbox here when I first moved to Hawaii and have had a great experience with the staff! I have one place to get my mail regardless of where I might end up moving around the island. They also can accept packages from UPS and FedEx while you’re not around and keep them in air conditioned storage until you pick it up.
