My husband booked me a last minute appointment with Lacey for a Brazilian. I have had many in the past but I have to say this was the best experience I’ve had. And not to mention the quality of the waxing was amazing. The best Brazilian wax I’ve ever had!
Lacey was extremely personable and although the pain is still painful, she makes the process very comfortable and relaxing. She is conversational and lovely! I would recommend her to EVERYONE! I usually prefer sugaring but Lacey has proven waxing to be worth it.
I will be returning and bringing some girlfriends with me. This is my permanent waxing spot. Thanks Lacey :)

I’ve been waxing my eyebrows for 20+ years and other parts for 10+ and these ladies are absolutely the best. They use high quality hard wax, are super friendly and priced very reasonably. It’s a little hard to find, don’t let that stop you. Thank you so much, I’m a loyal customer for life!

Just had my first appointment with Lacey and it definitely won’t be my last. Hands down the best waxing experience I’ve ever had! Did a Brazilian and underarms and just talked and laughed the entire time. The pain was practically non-​existent and I am so glad I came in! You will be too :)

Today I experienced my first ever full Brazilian wax. Initially I was nervous but after reading all the rave reviews from everyone else I decided this was the place to go, if I wanted to give waxing a shot.
Lacey treated me today and she was absolutely wonderful! She made me feel comfortable and at home immediately and talked to me like a friend, I felt relaxed and any concerns I may have had about waxing were washed away.
The actual waxing part itself was fast and almost pain free. I expected it to take a lot longer and be much more uncomfortable, but Lacey kept me distracted and was very fast and efficient with the waxing procedure. I am incredibly pleased with the results and will definitely be coming back for another treatment in a couple of weeks.

I love everything about getting my brows done by Summer. Today I got my brows waxed, she was fast and didn’t hurt. I love the shape of my brows after having them done. There’s barely any redness and I feel great! Her office is clean, inviting and warm. Scheduling was super easy all I did was send a text. I found street parking right outside and her price points are very affordable! I can’t wait to get a Brazilian! I will recommend Summer to all my girlfriends!

These ladies are amazing! I’ve tried many different places in the past, but since I found them a few years ago, I won’t go anywhere else for brazilians. My schedule is hectic so I tend to book my appointments at the last minute, but they’re always able to squeeze me in. I’ve seen all 3 ladies, and I honestly don’t have a preference. Lacey, Summer and Angel are specialists and all do very thorough, but quick work. They are fun to talk to, and immediately put you at ease. There’s no place better.

Summer is great! She is so professional and makes you feel at ease! The studio is absolutely adorable and very comfortable. I walked in got my Brazilian and my eyebrows done, and we talked like we have been friends for years. It was all done quickly and efficiently. Ok so this wasn’t my first time waxing, but it was my best experience!!! Summer is just amazing!!! Right away we got into conversation about pregnancy because we are due two weeks apart from each other! Deep in conversation during my Brazilian, I didn’t even notice any pain! She was quick and very thorough! I’m so happy to have finally found a Waxer I’m comfortable with! I will definitely recommend coming here to anyone!!!

My Brazilian wax by Lacey was amazing! She was fun to talk with and also laid back. Fun, quick, clean, and painless.
The place is a little hard to find. Use the door on the far right and go up to the second floor. It also seemed like stores and businesses in the area know Summer and will guide you to the correct location!

Best waxing salon EVER! I have never gotten a bikini or Brazilian wax before, and I was so nervous. But, i went in and got a Brazilian from Lacey and I was surprised by how much it didn’t hurt! With any waxing there’s a little pain of course, but this first time wasn’t bad at all. And she says it’ll be less and less painful as you continue coming in so that was reassuring!
Lacey was so sweet! My friends and I scheduled an appointment last minute and got there a little later than we expected, but she was so nice about it and she didn’t rush us or anything. Plus she makes you feel super comfortable and not weirded out by the fact that you’re exposed on a table. She’s awesome! Definitely coming back!!!

I first went to Summer 6 (SIX) years ago, nervous and not sure if waxing would be for me. I spent a lot of time in the ocean (in a bikini) and shaving was not cutting it. I was hooked after our first appointment– she was professional but made me comfortable and relaxed. Guess what? I haven’t shaved since. Its 100x better than shaving, easier, and only have to do it every other month or so.
When she moved locations, I followed her down the hall, and recommended her to all my friends. When she brought on Angel I was a little anxious but she is phenomenal! Again with Lacey, these ladies are all wonderful.
When I moved to Big Isle, I decided to try out a new spot, a very nice spa in the kohala resort area. The experience was so horrible that I vowed to never go anywhere but Simply Summer as long as I could help it. I now go less frequently, but enough time has passed that I really don’t need to– its minimal, manageable and miraculous.

Still absolutely love coming here! I meet Lacey today! Let’s just say she’s amazing! We had a great time, even though I was been waxed. I was in and out before I even knew it.

I did a lot of research looking for the absolute best place on the island to get a Brazilian waxing. It was my first time so I wanted to make sure I was comfortable, that the person knew what they were doing, and that it wasn’t outrageously priced (although I was prepared to pay up to $ 200). Simply Summer Hawaii is perfect for anyone going for their first time, and after you come here, you won’t want to go anywhere else! My appointment was with Angel and she has a wonderful personality and plays great music off her pandora account. She will explain the process to you thoroughly, while at the same time not letting you focus on the waxing itself. Instead of being quiet and awkward she will just have a conversation with you about anything and everything. I felt like I was being waxed by my sister!
You definitely have to make an appointment because they are easily booked back to back. The appointment was no longer than twenty minutes and the job was quality. I’m very happy with my experience and my results. I’m definitely converted and committed to Simply Summer Hawaii. There is no good reason to go anywhere else.

I finally did it! My first Brazilian.
Of course, it was not pain-​free, but it’s honestly not as bad as I thought it would be.
I’m very private and shy so I thought this was going to be a very awkward experience.
Angel was nice, informative and funny! She makes sure to give you as much information as possible on what she’s going to do and why. She made me laugh throughout the most painful parts and I thought that was hilarious. I wanted to laugh and wanted to scream. Idk, it was just funny.
My coworkers recommended it to me and I’m glad they did. I will continue to come here until it’s time to move again! Then I don’t know what I’ll do.

As a Brazilian virgin, I was scared to go to a complete stranger and expose private bits to them as they ripped hair out of those sensitive areas. I was awkward, fearful, and totally out of my element.
First off, Summer gets back to you quickly to schedule an appointment and it is always quick. When I schedule my appointment, Summer managed to fit me in on the morning of Christmas Eve. I was surprised and very pleased.
My appointment was scheduled with Summer and when I arrived, I found that the place was adorable. It’s above a health food shop in a quiet area and the bathrooms are very clean and cute. The suite itself is adorable, with pretty and chic walls, a lovely selection of dresses, and a comfortable waxing bed.
Summer made me feel very at ease and I quickly forgot my awkwardness over being half naked in front of a stranger. She worked very quickly and the pain was minimal. Honestly, my fear of the pain was worse than the brief pain itself. Afterwards, coconut oil was used to clean the wax and baby powder with lavender oil was used. I was happy because I use coconut oil already as a moisturizer.
My next appointment was with Angel and again, I was nervous to expose myself to a stranger again. I shouldn’t have been Angel was so fun and chatty that I forgot what was going on. We talked the entire time and I felt like I was just having a hangout with a friend, instead of the awkwardness that I expected.
These ladies are professional, clean, and kind. Never did they double-​dip into the wax, never were gloves used in both the back and front areas for waxing, and my comfort was taken into account every step of the way. I would recommend them to anyone and definitely plan on going back.

I messaged Summer a few days before arriving in Hawaii on 1/​27, and to my surprise I received a response within an hour that I would be seeing Angel at noon on the 27^th. When I first arrived, I was unsure of where to go, until I remembered a Unilocal reviewer mention they were located on the 2^nd floor. Upon arrival, Angel greeted me, and before we knew it, an hour and a half had passed and Angel’s next client had arrived. Angel is so much fun, she made my first waxing experience with her seem so comfortable. It was as if she was a friend of mine for many years.
Angel took her time and was very thorough with her waxing – as she did her job, she made sure she talked about everything other than waxing, which definitely helped me relax. She is so much fun – I will definitely be sure to make time to see her again when I travel to Hawaii.

I don’t know why I ever strayed. I’ve been going to Summer for several years now, and as always, she’s quick, very professional, and very clean. Sanitation is so important!
Last night, I texted Summer right before her salon closed hoping to get an appointment. She scheduled me with Angel for the following morning (how quick & easy was that?!)
I saw Angel today and she was running a little behind, but nothing to complain about. She was very sweet and personable. She made my wax appointment go by super fast. I was expecting a 45 minute appointment, but I was out of there in 20 minutes. Like Summer, Angel was very fast and professional.
I’ve gone to many different salons and seen many different estheticians. Simply Summer Hawaii is seriously the best I’ve been to yet. And not to mention, her prices are unbeatable.
