Towing Express

Rasheed came to save me today. The little piece that turns my break lights off broke off and Rasheed was able to fashion a piece from I don’t know what to fix it. He was very assuring and calming to my frazzled nerves and I could not thank him enough. Excellent service, he went above and beyond!

Great service, reasonable price. Lost my keys and had to get my car towed to Volvo. I had to have the car there at a specific time so I called a few days in advance to make an appointment. They came right on time, didn’t charge me a penny more than the quote, and the guy was nice.

Just got RESCUED By the Towing Express guys! John and David! They were named after kings from the Bible after all! They met me on a shot day with an ice cold bottle of water and reassuring smiles. They did what they could to try and see if they could get the car going. Then they safely and securely got me and my vehicle to where we needed to be. All in a super timely manner. They were funny and lovely spirited! I hope that if their Boss reads this he gives them a raise or at least a bonus in the form of $$ for representing the company so well! Even tho they root for the wrong football teams! ;-)

I ran something over coming up the Pali and my tire blew out, which was pretty scary, and it was dark and raining and I couldn’t see much so called AAA (even though I don’t have it) who recommended that I call these guys. The guy was there within 10 minutes and got my tire changed within another 10 minutes. He was also extremely nice and comforting after my tire scare which was a bonus. The whole transaction was fast and easy, and if I ever need help on the Windward side again, I will be calling these people. Seriously call them if you need any kind of roadside assistance, they are great.

I found Towing Express on Unilocal for my parents as their car wouldn’t start and our attempts at jump starting it failed. John came out to help us today, he was super courteous and helpful, we were extremely happy with the service and thought their prices were reasonable. We would definitely call them again if needed!

Fantastic service and rates! My 2002 Subaru Impreza was stuck at Castle junction at around midnight. Moved it out of the way and went home. The next morning, gave Towing Express a call. They gave me a quote and ETA. Quote was extremely reasonable and they were there within the ETA. Quickly loaded my Subaru onto a flatbed (under 5 minutes), and we were off. Overall, excellent service and extremely reasonable rates!

Excellent, fast service. Definitely go above and beyond what is required. Everyone is friendly and helpful. So glad AAA referred these guys to do my tow. They got me jumped and I followed them to their Kapaa quarry location to get a new battery. Top notch all around !!

John was the driver that helped me out today, great guy. Calm, clear, took time to explain what/​why he was doing what he was doing.
He was on time, knew his way around my car, and made good small talk. Great guy, and a good representative of the company.

Decided to get a new battery through AAA. Called and they had Towing Express at my house within 25 minutes. Very courteous tech and fast clean job. Very impressed with this service AAA offers and the companies they do business with.

So we didnt actually wind up having to use this company but it was the only one that answered and they were going to charge us reasonably. I would call them back again if needed.

If you’re reading this review you probably need a tow truck today. You really can stop looking here and call these guys. Here’s how it went for me.
We took 10 minutes to drive over to where our car was stranded in Kalama valley and Towing Express took 9. The big smiling driver was there to greet us and effortlessly threaded his tow truck through an obstacle course of corners, curbs and cars to extricate our stricken Xterra. These guys are good. Fast, friendly and experienced at getting your vehicle out of a tight spot.
I sat in the air conditioned cab on the ride along and enjoyed a complimentary cold bottle of water on the way to my regular garage on Beretania. I was so relieved to be on our way without any hassles I completely forgot to call ahead and let them know we were going to arrive soon with the tow truck. No problem, the driver got it close to a spot on the lot and then hung around and pitched in with the mechanics and me to roll it in.
The price was fair and negotiated up front with no surprises. They are one of the AAA tow truck operations although I had let my membership lapse (OK for 6 years!) and I thought I needed the premium membership to get a longer free tow and would have to wait a week for the benefits to kick in.
I found out later that if you get the basic AAA membership your free 5 mile tow is available right away and there is a reasonable prenegotiated rate ($ 7/​mile then I checked) for each additional mile. This would have saved me a few bucks but it was still a good deal.

I can’t recommend Towing Express in Waimanalo highly enough! Everything from the courteous & helpful phone call to the prompt, knowledgable & professional service tech, John, to the good price. They were at my door before I even had a chance to unload my car before it was towed. During stressful situations like this, knowing someone has you taken care of is HUGE! Definite Aloha from start to finish. Don’t waste your time calling around, trust me, 1 call & you’ll be happy, serviced & charged fairly. Mahalo!

I just needed to tow our van to the dealer’s service center and called AAA. We were really blown away by the service that Jessie provided. Good service is hard to find now days but we just experienced WOW service which is so rare. Thanks Jessie, AWESOME!

I had a lock out recently, called AAA, who dispatched Towing Express.
The service technician called me right away to confirm my location, and kept me posted with a 15 minute ETA to Kailua. He arrived shortly after in a clean, professional looking uniform and greeted me with a smile, handshake, and a cold bottle of water.
Shortly after getting my car unlocked, he checked the air pressure in all four of my tires and even topped off one of my rear tires with a little bit of air.
He left me as pleasantly as he arrived with a big smile, handshake, a thank you for my dedicated memberhsip with AAA, and asked if there was anything else i could do before he left.
It takes quite the character to turn a simple service into a «full service experience». These guys really seem to take pride in their service quality in an industry that has a reputation of quite the contrary.

I am not quite sure why the address is Kaneohe and then it says the company is in Waimanalo. But that is besides the point.
My husband’s car broke down at the commissary on base and I didn’t know what to do! I have been driving it once a week so it does not die, but then ironically it dies whilst me taking it for it’s weekly spin. I know nothing about cars so I kind of just left it in the parking lot for a day before deciding to tackle the problem and call AAA. From past AAA experiences I was prepared for a three hour wait, and called from work before I left.
On the contrary! Within two minutes of getting off the phone with AAA, Jessie from Towing Express called me and told me he was less than 30 minutes away and apologized for the surprisingly short wait. When he arrived, he presented me with a chilled bottle of water. Jessie was incredibly professional and made the dreaded experience I had put off into a quite pleasant one.
The car was indeed unable to be fixed, but Jessie made suggestions on what my husband should check when he returns, as he likes to fix his own car. Our street is quite narrow and I was quite impressed with Jessie’s ability to navigate all the way up it in reverse. He placed it perfectly in our awkward parking spot and was on his way! The entire ordeal only took about an hour. :-)

These guys were great! They were super fast and very reasonably priced. I needed a tow truck at 6pm on a weekday near Waikane. From the time I called until my car was being towed away was 25 minutes. I have needed tow service in town before and waited 2 ½ hours and paid twice as much. I will be using this company for any towing needs in the future.

The team working with Towing Express is amazing! Usually when you have to get towed you are never in the best of moods. The guys really try to make you feel comfortable and secure in a really bad situation.
My car broke down on the Pali Highway (the first time) and I was seriously stranded. The guys put so much effort into figuring out where I was on the highway and tried really hard to get to me in a hurry. It took them no time to find me and they were extremely courteous and kind. After towing my car to the mechanic, they stayed to make sure I would be okay. They really go above and beyond with the customer service and they are the best on the island for sure!!!

Found myself and a friend on the freeway with a flat tire and they responded quickly to assist. The technician was very professional and even had water for us while we were waiting. If your looking for quick, reliable service you have found it.

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Awni Naser of Towing Express. I located him by contacting my AAA service. He arrived promptly, got my car started and followed me home to make sure I made it safely. He greeted me with a plesant introduction and a bottle of iced water. Though english was not his first language, his skills were excellent. He cautioned me against potential centipedes in the area where my car was parked. He was very informative about services I could receive from AAA to further diagnose my car troubles. Overall, a very good experience.
