History

Established in 2005.

The owner was finished with corporate America, loves clothing and wanted to help Seattle women feel better about themselves. So… she opened a store.

Meet the Business Owner

Amanda R.

Business Owner

After spending 10 years working in Internet advertising in San Francisco and Seattle, Amanda Rosenthal decided she was through with corporate America. Forever obsessed with clothing, she dreamed of opening a clothing boutique similar to the shops found in the Hayes Valley neighborhood of San Francisco. Sensing a void in the Seattle shopping scene, Rosenthal felt the Emerald City needed a store that featured up-and-coming designers that no one had seen before. She took this inspiration and became a self-taught entrepreneur, throwing open the doors of La Rousse in 2005.
