Bounceland

We have brought our kids here to jump a couple of times and the kids love it! As a parent I especially love the set up because there is only one entrance area to the bounce houses & slides, so it is easy to keep track of your children in there, even if you wanted to sit in the lounge area, your kid can not escape the place without you seeing them come out. We decided to have our girls birthday party here, and although the kids had a blast there were some things that I was disappointed in, especially after paying $ 280 to have the party there! First of all, the party was planned for 24 kids & when you add all the parents to that many kids it’s a pretty large size party. I think that our party planner could have used help (there were other staff members just sitting around). Since it was both of our daughters bday party (both have November bday’s, so we do one big party) it was twice as much stuff for our poor party planner to do! I did not like the fact that we paid for a party room and were not allowed to hang our coats, put our shoes and other belongings in our room (which had coat racks & PLENTY of space, the party room was pretty large!). We had to leave our coats & shoes out front and I had to ask of I could put my purse, baby’s car seat & diaper bag in the room! (I have a 5 month old). I was told I can but anyone who has stuff in the room has to bring it all out when the kids go out to jump for the 2^nd time. This was just to make things easier on them instead of accommodating to the party. All of the guests had to sign the gifted t-​shirts at the entrance, this should have been done in the party room, it was crowded & chaotic with people trying to come in & out, and our party group in the entrance trying to sign the t-​shirts. It would have been easier to have everyone come in to the party room, sign waivers, t-​shirts, and take their shoes & coats of in there. There was absolutely no organization to the party. I gave my party planner the goodie bags which were forgotten about amongst the chaos (not her fault, she needed some extra help!) and although our party planner was very nice, she didn’t have an agenda for the party. As people came in they took their shoes off and ran in to the jump area. We weren’t told when we would meet in the party room or what the plan was. (Probably not her fault but a lack or party routine planning on the owners part). Our planner wasn’t very enthusiastic either. I will bring my kids back to play but I won’t be having another birthday party here and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else have one there either!

Dirty, badly supervised; staff is unhelpful and unfriendly. Parents mostly sit in another room and gossip while their kids are allowed to do whatever they want, so that smaller kids mostly have no chance of using the bounce houses without getting injured. Watched three 13−14-year olds chase each other around trying to hit each other with basketballs while no one did anything. Jungle Joe’s in Portage is cleaner, nicer, better staffed, and less likely to leave your kid injured.

This place is great for a birthday party. And that’s just what we did yesterday. This place is located in a warehouse district. It is easy to find and clean in all directions. There is no greasy or smokey plants nearby.
Once inside they have a nice entrance with cubbies for your shoes. And there is a receptionist that welcomes you. They have a small café and a two separate rooms for parties and or course bathrooms.
Now on to the main event: there is a very large room that houses the 6 giant bounce houses! Wow are they spectacular. There is many different sizes for all ages. Our fav, was the giant dual slide. It was great for our kids to zoom down these! We’ll be back!

We live pretty close so Bounceland is a regular stop. Kiddos, 4 and 7, always have a great time. Price is for unlimited time, super reasonable. If you show up right when they open you’ll almost always have the place to yourselves. We got there at opening on a Sunday and had the place to ourselves for the first 20 minutes. Plenty to keep the kids busy, always very clean and a game area with actually some pretty nice games. Snack area has basic concession stuff, reheated, nothing special.

I see all the reviews and have to say for some reason… probably the token machines and atmosphere for some reason I prefer Jungle Joe’s to this place. Not bad mouthing bounceland really… it’s pretty sufficient. …daughter having a good time… by reviews I’ve read online I thought that bounceland was going to be a lot cooler than jungle joes. In my opinion this is not the case. Jungle joes let me bring my lemonade in but bounceland will not. If I want to drink anything then it has to be nastiness from them or some yuck tap water I imagine. Machines are better at jungle joes as I like to race SpongeBob as well. 4 stars bounceland is cool but jj ‘s gets 5

Swung into Bounceland last weekend for an event and had a pretty good time (kids did). It was clean which for me was a deal breaker since the last place I went to smelled of dirty feet and mold. There are plenty of places for hosting a party and a nice concessions area offering everything from pizza to slushies, Erbelli’s pizza even. Business is located in a business /​industrial area with plenty of parking. Definitely worth a visit, especially for kids 3+.

Very clean! The girl who was working wasn’t at the front when we first walked in because she was cleaning. I’d much rather wait to pay and see firsthand it’s clean, than pay and feel disgusted. It’s quite loud which is expected with all the blowers. I like that there is a designated 0 – 5 age area and most of the bounce houses allow adults.
Lots of seating available but I think it’s old airport seats so they look dirty but I saw her disinfecting them too.

I have attended 10+ parties here over the last 6 years and have been thoroughly impressed by the job they do. The staff is friendly, the place is clean (a tough task with 4 – 10 year olds around regularly), and the inflatables are in good shape.
The most amazing part of the party experience is how organized they can keep a group of preschoolers. To have 15 little kids open presents, eat cake, and play in an organized fashion is quite a feat. They even have one of their staff write down who gave each presents so you can send thank you cards to the right people.
The only downside for parents is the noise level is high, and there only a couple places to sit near the inflatables. Combine the sound from fans and screaming kids and you have a recipe for a needed nap for adults. This is a function of the activity rather than facility, but more seating could help.

This is a great place for inexpensive fun for the family!
Bounceland is primarily geared toward children ages 2 – 9, I’d say, but I have a great time running around this place and going on all of the slides and obstacle courses. My co-​workers and I work with a large pediatric population. We have rented out Bounceland for one night for the past seven years to host a holiday party. I have taken my niece and some of my friends’ kids here, also.
This is not an all day event. Kids probably won’t last much more than an hour here. There is a concession stand with food, drinks, and candy.
