History

Established in 1992.

CertaPro Painters is North America’s most referred painting contractor and I, Mike Watson, am the local owner of CertaPro Painters of Kalamazoo. I started this business because I wanted to bring a level of customer service to the residential painting that is not commonly found. My goal has always been to do great painting work our customers can be proud of while delivering world class customer service.

Based in Kalamazoo, we have performed thousands of painting projects with that focus in Augusta, Climax, Battle Creek, Mendon and Kalamazoo. We’ve painted for your neighbors and friends, and have probably painted a home on your block!

Business Owner

Before owning and operating the CertaPro Painting business in Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, I had a career in the office furniture industry in Michigan, Iowa and most recently, Wisconsin. After personally completing many home interior and exterior renovations, I decided to leave the corporate world and build a business based on my passion of renovating and improving residential and commercial structures. Being a Michigan native, when the opportunity became available to open a CertaPro Painters franchise in the Kalamazoo and Battle Creek areas, I welcomed the chance to leave the corporate world and return home to Michigan. I am excited to be back and working locally with the area residents.
