We live in a 1950’s house that had«replacement windows» when we purchased it 11 years ago. We learned very quickly that there are actual generic replacement windows and our house was full of them. We turned to Jax Building Supply after looking at multiple big box stores. Jax beat their prices regardless of what window we picked. They guided us in the right direction for appropriate windows for our house and made sure we stayed on budget. We had Jax install our windows and over the past few years we have replaced all but one window in our entire house, including two large picture windows, and we have been incredibly happy with our decision. Jax warranties their work, their materials and explains everything as it’s happening, so there are never unanswered questions. The only part about replacing windows that is a tad tedious is the time involved. There is the initial appointment for measurements, then there is a four week wait for the window to be ordered, then another week or two to schedule an appointment for installation, and lastly the instal for just one window can take up to two hours depending on weather and the time of the day. If you are handy you can also buy your windows from Jax and instal them yourself. It will save you money on labor and installation fees. Apparently this is an incredibly easy process.

Jax went out of their way to come and look at our gutters when we were having an issue. Instead of recommending purchasing new gutters and costing us a fortune, they told us an easy way to solve the problem without having to purchase anything. Only a truly honest company does this. Highly recommended!
