Step Above Learning Center strives to provide excellent care and education for children of all ages. We welcome infants, toddlers, pre-​schoolers and our «Step Up!» After-​School Program and Summer Program welcomes children and teens!

History

Established in 2002.

Step Above Learning Center was founded over 10 years ago by the one and only Angelia Weier. Her love for children and learning began as an In-​Home Day Care owner in 1990. In 2002, she turned her small home-​based daycare into a thriving business which has been successfully caring for children of all ages ever since.

Angie brings with her directorship a loving family environment, a challenging learning facility for preschoolers and school children and an open door where families of all backgrounds are welcome. All children who walk through our doors find a second home in our center and we’re happy to provide a quality curriculum with all the love, care and compassion of a child’s home.

Nothing can replace the love of a parent, but we do believe that «it takes a village,» and we are delighted to share in the growth and edification of a child in our little village that we call, «Step Above Learning Center.»

Business Owner

Angie Weier-​Carter is the owner and director of Step Above Learning Center. She has been leading the center to success for over 10 years and is excited for 10 more! Having the utmost faith in the care and education provided at Step Above Learning Center, Angie trusted her staff and friends here to care for her only son from his infant years through adolescence. A true family advocate, Mrs. Angie is the foundation of the center with years of experience in child care and early childhood education, and a heart of gold. She cares for her clients and staff as if they were her own family and creates a space of love and compassion comparable to no other daycare or preschool in town.
