5 of us went to breakfast here this past Sunday and really enjoyed. Everything was good, service was quick, and our server was kind.

This place gets a lot of hype but I went there and there was only one waiter and it took 20 mins to get our waters and get our drinks and food ordered and then the food was horrible and way over priced. Never going back.

My gentleman and I sadly just had the worse breakfast here. The eggs weren’t even cooked all the way scrambled. The sausage was not fully cooked through either and the toast was see through because it had so much butter on it. Our server was very understanding and when asking their«manager» what to do she only offered us 20% off when neither of us ate even 30% of our meal! Our plates were still full of food when we returned them. Upon going up to pay for this«refund,» we were asked why we were not happy and explained. This«manager» seriously laughed at us and said that she hoped we would come back. I feel terrible for the servers that work under her! Get outta there!

Gyro and fries: fries were nothing special. I would believe they had only been making them a month. Good fries have a special taste that doesnt require condiements are extra salt. These don’t have that taste. Gyro was ok. It may be the best in town but that doesn’t mean it’s good! some haphazard white onions thrown over the whole thing and some tomato choppings too. The pita was fine, but again, nothing special. The gryo meat was surprisingly good. Seems to be real gryo meat and not just thin sliced beef. Pretty flavorful. I had to add salt though… and more… and it still wasn’t right. I was disapointed with the tzatziki sauce. I got a good amount in a to go order, but it was not as flavorful as I like. Tzatzki sauce is the second most important ingredient in a gryo! It’s what helps make it unique! I could smell cucumber and dairy and a TINY bit of garlic. The whole thing was VERY messy to eat, though gyros can be, this was the worst. Don’t plan on going again, I can get fantastic gryos elsewhere… outside of Kzoo. Not a deal either, $ 8.

Worst service I have ever had. Arrived by myself as I was traveling and there were approximately 5 tables with guests. Sat for 20 minutes without a server. Got up and left.

First time I’ve ever been disappointed here. Service was unusually slow, part of my order was forgotten, and we had to ask for more waters so that everyone got one. My disappointment with my meal might be my own fault for making assumptions without asking. When you order a gyro, you typically get flat bread filled with gyro meat, tomato, onion, feta cheese, and a yogurt-based dressing. So I figured something called a gyro omelette would be an omelette with similar fillings. Nope. Eggs and chunks of gyro meat. That’s it. And since when does sourdough cost extra? I doubt I’ll be back any time soon.

Very friendly service. Drinks came out right away. Waiter had the specials memorized which was helpful. I ordered the gyro sandwich with the Greek salad. Salad came out about 3 minutes later and right after I finished the salad my food came out. Amazing service and very friendly.

Lived in phily and nj area my whole life. Never believed I would find a real Greek diner in kzoo. The lemon chicken soup, spinach pie and the baklava are for REAL. All made with love and caring. can’t wait to go back.

I went there for the first time today and like it. Seems that everybody knows everybody which is pretty cool. I wish all places were like that. I had the french toast and it was pretty good! I wish I had what my co-worker had which was a ham, egg and cheese omelette. It looked sooo good and the hashbrowns were really tasty. Definitely check this place out.

I’m sad that I feel inclined to give such a poor review on a family favorite growing up. I grew up going to Theo and Stacy’s and after a very bad personal experience at the Portage road one… I thought I’d give this location a shot for the first time. First things first, we were told to pick a seat but never got a waitress… There was a few ‘regulars’ from the sounds of it, that came in and got served before us. We waited a good 15 minutes before my fiancé decided to go to the manager and ask for a waitress. She didn’t really say much, no apology, nothing. Good management guys! Finally a waitress came over after walking past us at least a half dozen times. She apologized for us having to wait and said all her food came out at once(it didn’t, we were sitting there watching her talk to other customers). It took forever to get our food because they ran out of gravy, so they brought one dish out before the rest was ready. Then when we were paying up front, the manager wouldn’t even look at us. We were never rude, just simply asked for a waitress very kindly after waiting for 15 minutes to even get noticed after multiple walked past us. Not cool that a manager is giving customers the silent treatment, even IF we were rude, which we definitely were not. The only thing she said to us was ‘do you need a receipt?’. I don’t know what’s happened to their customer service over the years but I won’t waste another dime in either locations. Between my two experiences this year so far… I am astounded that they have so many returning customers. Other than the crap service, they have an awesome and very affordable breakfast. If you have time on your hands(which we didn’t with an impatient infant and my father that had to leave for work shortly after we finally got our food) then it’s a good place to go for breakfast but wow… they should of taken off something off our bills for the wreck of service… but all we got was an attitude from management and no thank you/have a nice day.

One of my favorite places to eat breakfast, whether it be for actual breakfast, or lunch. The staff is always friendly food is delicious, it’s like a home cooked meal! Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. They have the perfect potatoes, and the French toast is amazing! Love this place.

4 Stars, Really Unilocalers? Table was greasy, omelet was under cooked and dripping raw egg, hash browns were hardly warm(and perhaps reheated) the toast was not even browned. I am seldom disappointed with everything. Nothing positive to post about the service either.

Super-duper consistent, absolutely every time. Always gets my vote for best BLT, best turkey club and their advertised Best Gyro in town. The staff is like an extended family, and they really appreciate their customers. A pair of diners will spend less here than they do at a drive-thru, and there’s no comparison for American diner/lunch counter/affordable dinner in Kzoo — this place never disappoints. Terrific value, and the perfect place to make your go-to restaurant when you’re not sure what you’re in the mood for. Anytime someone suggests Theo and Stacy’s, I’m happy to revisit, over and over again for almost thirty years now. These great folks deserve your patronage! Darling old-school townies with a genuine love for this town and its people.

My husband and I go out for breakfast every Saturday. We’ve hit just about every breakfast place in Kalamazoo and the surrounding area. One thing we like about this place is we usually see Stacy or her sister working.
