Kimo and Melia’s

Patele, Patele stew, Lau lau, kalua pig… it’s ALL GOOD! Price is awesome. Of you are cruising in Kahaluu stop by and get yours. The other places near by can’t compare! Checkit out! You will not be disappointed.

This place has it down! Very humble establishment. Family owned and operated and totally «under the table.» You basically pull into the culdasac, drive up to their house and tell them what you want. All their food is chilled in coollers and ready to transport. Although this place is located at someone’s house, you would be surprise to see the amount of people who know of the service they provide based on hear say. That’s the best form of advertisement and I’m super glad I came by yesterday. Here’s what I had:
They sell delicious laulaus for only $ 2.00! It’s filled with tender pork and the best part: NO butterfish. YUM! I also had their fried rice which is exactly what I grew up on. My plate also included chicken long rice, kalua pig, poke and patele stew. Overall, this was probably the BEST Hawaiian food I’ve ever had, BAR NONE.
Don’t be fooled by their competitors. Their neighbors also sell Hawaiian food but super sloppy and not good. Be sure to visit Kimo and Melia’s Hawaiian Grindz when you’re in Kahaluu! You will NOT be disappointed.
