Was told they would scan clear ODB ii codes. Go there, wait in line, they tell me no. This is a known thing they do. How dumb.

lI only needed 1 quart of oil. There were at least 3 guys working, maybe 4 because I heard someone restocking, actually taking something out and dropping it on the ground. Anyway, 2 workers at the counter, one was helping answer another customers question. not sure what the other guys was doing. The phone rings and then another guy comes up to answer it. After a bit I said forget it and walked out. I’ll just go to Napa next time, there always on it over there.

One star for the good deal on fluids for the car… minus the rest for being the only ones out of all the mother fkrs in the store they decide to follow… dumb asses… fk this store. Gonna go to the one in Kailua where they don’t.

Worst customer service I have experienced in a decade. First I am a commercial client and I expect a certain quality of service, but am very understanding when things are busy. I often wait, quietly, in line, rather than go to the commercial counter. I ordered a starter for an Acura, only starter on the island, on a Saturday, they delivered it Saturday evening to Kaneohe by 7:30pm! Great! I usually do not work Sundays, but this customer has cancer and has an appointment Monday morning, I know it sounds dramatic but it is true. He is ill so I work a little extra to help. Anyway, I get a call at about 10:30am, telling me they sold the starter to Lex Brodie because they paid online. I could have had the customer buy it online if I had known. Or I could have had the customers daughter buy it, pick it up, Saturday evening.
All that being said, everyone can have a bad day. The rest of the times I have worked with Oreilly’s, I have had a really good experience and I m certain you will too. Just remember, if the part is the last one on the island, buy it, quick.

Bought a windshield washer pump for my bmw, it was in a beat up looking package, but I didn’t care as long as it’s the one I need. Well turns out it was not the correct one, he brings out another one with the same # as the first but it had more parts with it. Wiring and clips, but refuses to exchange it with the other one he himself sold me, saying that they think I took the wiring and scuffed up the packaging? Wth. No management on site. I was more than pissed, you are going to tell a good customer you think is lying about a 20 dollar part? Horrible customer service. I spend hundreds a week keeping up my 3 cars, will not go here again… young kids with no knowledge of cars or customer service.

I wish I could give negative stars! Every time I’ve been in here they have been rude. I came in after I pulled out my bad starter. I walked in asked for a new one for my car and the guy behind the counter who’s a little on the chubby side with glasses goes, «aw, looks like you’ve been trying to help too». EXTREMELY SEXTIST. I am working in it, it’s my car. The last time I’ve gone, just a few days ago, I asked if what’s the correct gear oil for a friend’s car I’m working on, the associate, Allen, decides that he needs to inform me how to properly fill a transmission and asks if I’m sure I know what I’m doing. I just want to know what the correct oil. After I listen to his lecture I ask him so what kind of oil? GL4? What weight? He looks at me like I’m dumb and says, «80W-​90. And you know you need a lot to fill it right?» Oh but once my boyfriends comes up Allen starts talking to him as if he’s the one asking! Yeah I magically disappeared. Allen didn’t lecture him and didn’t tell him he needs more. At least Allen isn’t as bad as that white bald guy who literally argued with my grandpa about the correct terms of automotive paint. I heard him shouting at my grandpa «that’s not what it’s called», shouting at him! I try to go to kailua or even town even though this one is only a few minutes away from my house. I even tell my boyfriend to talk to them even if he doesn’t know what he’s talking about it. I know I haven’t been helped by all of the employees there but ones I have talked to are sextist and rude. Overall I think they just want to feel superior especially in a field where many people aren’t knowledgeable.

Staff at this O’Reillys are awesome. Every time I go in (usually in a terrible mood because of car problems) I end up getting the best service. Will be a loyal customer for life.

Big sign on door «Military Discount we support our troops». Great, I’m thinking. Salesman excited to tell me that the oil I want to purchase costs «the same or less than on-​base». GREAT. I’m thinking.
Check receipt in the car — hey, it looks like no 10% military was applied. Not so great. Walk back into store and talk to manager… 10% discount does not apply to oil & coolant.
You know what? Good on OReilly’s Military Discount but they loose a point or two for not giving it to the one item most often bought, oil. Still Four Stars though!

Terrible customer service. Bought a torch bit took it home and discovered that the bit I bought had been used — not slightly, but heavily. Took the set back immediately (within 30 minutes) and was told by the assistant manager that he could not refund my money, basically accusing me of using the bit and trying to return it. Told me I would have to come back and talk to the manager on Monday. I’m a busy guy and a small business owner so his approach just baffled me. I could understand if it was a day later but we we’re talking immediately. Instead of apologizing for selling me a faulty product or even offering me an exchange, he basically called me a liar and told me it was my responsibility to plead my case with the branch manager. Awful awful approach. I will never shop here again

The staff is so nice. My truck was having problems starting. I didn’t know if it was the battery or alternator. I called Sears and they wanted $ 20 to test, plus I would have to wait several hours. I went to Oreiley and they came right out, tested my battery and alternator for free. Turns out I need a new battery :(The sales associate also I suggested I buy a battery strap because my battery is loose and was dangerous. Although I did not buy a battery from them, I did buy the $ 5 strap because I could tell the gentleman was genuinely concerned! Thank you so much Kaneohe Oreiley!!!
