History

Established in 1967.

Ted and Doris Isaacson launched Servpro Industries, Inc. in 1967 in Sacramento, Calif. With a background in cleaning and restoration, however, Ted and Doris soon transformed the company into a franchisor of cleanup and restoration specialists. SERVPRO® acquired the Bristol-​Myers Domesticare Division and its 175 Franchises in 1979. SERVPRO® relocated the corporate headquarters from Sacramento to Gallatin, TN, in 1988. In 2014 Andy and Glenna Maras started the second Servpro cleaning and restoration franchise on the island of Oahu! As a home owner and mother of 5 children, Glenna understands the frustration and anxiety that comes with household disasters as well as the value of having the right people take care of the problem. Andy has 20 years experience in the construction industry solving problems and day to day setbacks. He is not intimidated by any challenge with which he is faced. He is in his element when he is overcoming obstacles to achieve excellence and performs every task completely and efficiently. Both Andy and Glenna were attracted to Servpro because of its high level of professionalism and integrity. Each has undergone extensive and thorough training in all aspects of the business. Their unique skills and experiences combined with Servpro’s proven methods make us exceptionally equipped to restore your loss to pre-​loss condition.

I needed to have my carpets cleaned and saw an ad on Facebook so I called and got an estimate. It was a great deal so I made an appointment. Kristi and Ricky showed up right on time. They were nice, professional, and their work was excellent. If you’re looking for an honest, professional, and reliable company with excellent service, call Servpro Kailua/​North Laie!

When I got home my house was not clean and my ceiling fan in the living room was ruined. I scheduled a deep cleaning service and after this experience I will have to find another company to clean my home. The reason for using a company was I am physically unable to ‘deep clean’ and also my schedule has not allowed the time.
After initial contact it seemed as if they (servpro) wanted to make the situation right. During the conversation they requested photos of my fan and other areas of my home that were not cleaned. The servpro representative was going to text me the email address to send the photos to, however it was never received. I called and left three messages with no response from servpro.
The customer and cleaning service was less than ideal and I will not be using or recommending this service to anyone.

Contracted Christy and Ricky to clean the apartment I was moving out of. I thought they did solid work given the scope of the job I had laid out for them, but my landlord complained about several corners with dust, a couple of tiny streaks on Windows and floors, and the storage space which hadn’t been cleaned (due to miscommunication, not negligence). These two had such professional integrity that they came back the day after we talked and knocked out the areas of discrepancy, free of charge. I would hire them again in a heartbeat, and I will recommend them to anyone I come across.

It’s one of those things you hope you never need but when disaster strikes it’s nice to know that Glenna and Andy have the skills to bring your place back like it never happened. You would be amazed at the «before and after» pictures of some of their work. Highly recommended!

Andy, Dave, Jon, and the crew did a fine professional job responding to an extensive leak on a Sunday morning (isn’t it always on a Sunday?) in a second floor condo unit in Kailua. They worked quickly with great coordination and speed. The tenant, property manager, resident manager and owner were continuously kept apprised of the situation. Follow up was great and on schedule. They delivered what they promised and it was a pleasure to have them working for us. We were all treated respectfully and they never tired of explaining the same issues repeatedly for each of us individually. They answered our questions and concerns with patience and courtesy. Our resident manager made the call to use them and we can see why. There is no other company but Servpro Kailua North/​Laie for us in the future. We hope to never have to call them again (we have had our quota of emergencies for this year!) but we highly recommend them should the sudden unexpected need arise.

She and her Husband really know how to handle the tough issues regarding water damage and fire damage to buildings and homes.. I am very concerned about mold esp. in Hawaii climate, and know we can depend on Glenna and Servpro to take care of these issues professionally and safely. Thank you so much Glenna!
