Best Starbucks around! Fastest brew time and gets the order right! Marine base consistently gets order wrong and isn’t connected to order by phone app! Ward is consistently slow! Lead the way Windward City crew!

I go to this Starbucks all the time, people works there are nice!!! i went there again yesterday, I ordered the strawberry acai refresh with coconut milk, the cashier was really rude, she look like shes mad of the world, and when gave me the wrong drink, I didn’t ask for the return or anything, coz I don’t feel like talk to her the way that was the first time that I see her, I guess she’s new!

The staff is extremely courteous and helpful with the utmost professionalism, all except for the manager. She is rude, degrading, and just unpleasant to deal with at all times. She treats some of her customers like bottom of the barrel trash and not pleasant to deal with in the slightest. I would not recommend this location to any of my family or friends solely based on my experiences with her. She made it a terrible trip, I made multiple visits just to see if it was an off day, Since I like to give the benefit of the doubt, but no every time was just as bad or worse. I wish i could give zero stars for her and 10 stars for the staff, but I guess this doesn’t work like that. I tipped because I felt bad for the employees that have to work under her.

It’s Starbucks — expensive coffee drinks, average pastries, sandwiches, and other food, and a pleasant environment. I’m not a coffee drinker, so you can take my review with a big grain of salt, but I’ve utilized this location on multiple occasions for appointments, and on that score, it’s just okay. On Saturday mornings, it’s been surprisingly full, so getting a seat is not easy, and the big no-no from my point of view is that there is no interior restroom. That(and the usual Starbucks expense) are what get my 2-star(I’d give 2.5 if I could) rating. On the positive side, there’s some better-than-average seating outside if the weather is pleasant. Service has been decent. As a sit-down café experience, I’d say it was average. Parking is free in their lot at the Windward Shopping Center.

I love the location of this Starbucks since I live very close to this one! The service here has been good! But I now will normally drive to the location across from Windward Mall… Now why would I do such a thing? While I was writing my thesis I really needed that good coffee to help me through this painful time. Unfortunately literally every drink I got from here falls flat of coffee flavor or just flavor itself! The white chocolate mocha and caramel macchiato gave no caffeine buzz whatsoever, and tasted watery! Even the chai latte I normally love was watery too! I’m not sure what the baristas are doing here, but the quality of this locations drinks needs to be improved. I’ve been here on many different occasions, so it wasn’t just a one time deal where the drinks were like this. So take the drive to the location across Windward Mall, hey it even has a drive thru if you don’t want to go in! You’ll get your moneys worth there.

Friendly, helpful staff, comfy atmosphere. I highly recommend this location. Parking can be a pain but I blame Windward City’s tiny spaces.

Loved this Starbucks because of the drive-thru. Although the drive– thru can get backed up, I’m usually satisfied with my visit. However, this was the 3rd time that my order was wrong! I ordered only one drink… a Venti Chestnut Praline Latte that I had been wanting all day… and although the drink cup was labeled correctly, what I received was a Venti Latte… no trace of chestnut… no trace of praline… no whipped cream… no sprinkles… I was so disappointed. Baristas… please get my order right…

Hardly ever do I come across a Starbucks where customer service sucks, but when I do I have to make a review. I gave 3 stars because not all the employees have a bad attitude. I go here to study sometimes and usually I get rung up by the girl with the short hair. I never do get greeted. I’ve had her ring me up probably 3 out of the 5 times I’ve been there to study. She just stands there miserably with not even a half-smile on her face and waits until I’m ready to order. I know what good customer service looks like because 1. I work in retail so I know how it is and 2. Starbucks always has good customer service! I’d rather go to the other Starbucks across Windward Mall. Their customer service is always good. I usually come here when there’s no space at the other one and it’s usually in the morning. Hey! It doesn’t hurt to smile and greet your customers, especially in the morning when their day begins.

I always come here around 5:30 — 5:45am before I start my shift at work. I am never disappointed. I also tried out the mobile ordering app for the first time at this location. The minute I got there, I was out in a nano second! So awesome!

Here’s the deal. If you want your business to be successful, it starts with Customer Service. You may have a cool logo and the prettiest display, but it doesn’t automatically put you at the top. Walked in on a Friday night around 8:15pm. Pretty massive display of Starbucks mugs in the center of the store and on the tall shelf. Even at the counter. Okay, sold. You got me again, Starbucks. I decided to get the Waikiki city mug. There were no other customers in line, so I was the only one standing there with my husband. Before I proceeded to ask her how much the mug was, it would’ve been nice if the blonde girl asked the typical questions: «Hi, how can I help you?» «What can I get you this evening?» «Let me know if I could be of assistance.» Nada. Nothing. McDonald’s does a better job at that! She scanned the mug and told me the price. «Do you want it?» I replied, «Yes.» I handed my payment to her. She gave me a receipt and pushed the city mug closer to me. Now the next question you would typically hear is, «Would you like a bag for that?» Nope. Nothing. Actually, wouldn’t a bag for this mug in a box be automatic? I thought to myself, maybe it’s because Hawaii decided to do away with plastic bags(even though Starbucks uses recycled brown bags) and instead of asking, maybe she thought I’d pull out a reusable bag. «Thank you,» she said. I continued to stay at the counter so I could transfer the brown cover on the box from the bottom, to the top, to prevent the mug from falling out of its place, since I had to carry it out like that. Shouldn’t the hired staff be doing his? It was a bit challenging. It wouldn’t budge for a good minute. But, she continued to stare instead of offering if she could help. I finally got the cover to move and slipped it over the top. She then asked, «Would you like a bag?» Really?!? Sure. Thanks for asking. Thanks for helping out. No, I don’t want a drink with that. No, your pastry display no longer looks like its appetizing. I’ll take my future business somewhere else. 1-star because the app won’t allow me to Post/Continue without one.

I asked for a Java chip light and after 4 attempts and 20 minutes of waiting they got it right. I didn’t walk in asking for some crazy off the menu item but boy did it feel like I was imposing when I told them for the third time it was wrong! In the end the drink was right but the«1 star» is for the non apology I got after waiting that long. I walked in to avoid the drive thru line but it was like I was put on the back burner because at last 8 cars came and went while I waited and when I walked in no one else was ordering!!!

This is definitely one of the better starbucks on the island. The workers are always so friendly and if you come here enough(pretty much everyday like I do) they’ll get your name and order down in no time. Like any other starbucks, they are always busy during the morning rush. Try to avoid 7:15– 8:00am because that seems to be the worst time to come unless you enjoy standing in a line wrapped around the store. The thing that stands out to me the most is that this is the ONLY starbucks I know of that thinks of the customers first and automatically does each item as a separate order so that we can get our well deserved stars(and get our reward earlier!). Most places just get annoyed when you ask them. I mean, if I’m buying 3 macchiatos, a muffin, and a breakfast wrap, that’s just ridiculous if I only get 1 star for a $ 20+ order! Haha but that’s just me ranting. The only reason I would give 4 rather than 5 stars is that sometimes there can be some pretty shady people just hanging out in or around the store. I’ve definitely been here on occasions where I am pretty sure the person next to me is experiencing delusions of persecution while yelling that the officers are after him. Yeah. But for the most part it’s safe here. :P Edit: Some of the newer baristas seem a little more grumpy in the morning. And they don’t automatically do the multiple scan thing. Hopefully they learn from the older workers.

If you have read my other reviews, you would have noticed that customer service is important to me. I don’t mind waiting for a good product if there is a reasonable reason. But I was the only one in the shop(12⁄18) and it still took 15 minutes to make a mocha and they got it wrong. There is no reason to go here when Hawai’i has so many coffee options. This is a coffee shop fail.

Let me first admit — I am a starbucks whore. I love starbucks, and like most folks — can’t get enough. I frequent the windward mall starbucks almost every day, and the employees they are always very sweet and helpful. My order is usually the same, as I order for my daughter and myself(and sometimes my husband). I’ve never had a problem — my experiences have always been pleasant. Fast-forward to this morning: my daughter and I went to a new location, as we had a function nearby. I order our usual, along with a Christmas ornament. The cashier prompts me to scan, and I do. Then she prompts me to scan again, for my second drink! And finally, she rings my ornament separate. She must have seen the look of surprise and incredulity on my face, because she sweetly explained that she did it that way so I could get all of the stars I deserved! I was so impressed with that small gesture(that meant so much to me — stars are precious!)… Thank you to that phenomenal starbucks barista. You really made my day, and I will always remember this pleasant experience whenever I see my new ornament in my tree!

I’ve been coming here to study and I have my selected favorite baristas. Ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte no whip. Came with whip. I didn’t say anything though I try not to be a pest. I sat down to study for a few hours(I really enjoy studying here.) after I ordered a sweetened green tea to bring home to my husband & it was unsweetened. That was disappointing. Other than that one rare occasion I would recommend this Starbucks. Everyone has a bad day. BTW: Bathroom code is the area code.

I REALLY like customer loyalty programs — and Starbucks has it! The Star Rewards Program, in fact, even has a Bonus Special right now! If you puchase an item with your registered card, after 2pm, you will get an extra star! After every 12 Stars at the Gold Level(30 stars within 12 months), you get a free drink or food item! There are many other benefits such as a food or beverage item for your birthday; auto reload; and free refills; so just register your card and get going! This location is at the Windward City Shopping Center — near Foodland, Ross, First Hawaiian Bank, and McDonalds. It’s a very convenient location and visible from Kamehameha Highway. It’s easy to meet people here since another advantage is the free Wifi and easy parking. I have to thank Li(again) for getting me into the Starbucks groove. Mahalos, sis! ;)
