Originally established as a freelance photographer and has evolved into a print shop to go along with 14 years of experience in Hawaii.

Business Owner

I’ve been a resident of Hawai‘i since 1984. Long enough to have the «remember where da kine used to be» conversations. I graduated Kaimuki High School in 1986.

In the 80’s I was very much into photography and wanted to attend the Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, CA. But, well simply said, I couldn’t afford it and ended up with a degree in Hotel Management from Columbus State (OH) instead. After 10 years in the hotel industry working up the ladder and piling up the hours and hours and hours, I needed a rest and moved on.

I’ve been printing in Hawaii since 1998. After a year of unemployment and the urging of dedicated clients I did what I needed to do and created my own job. I thought to myself… How can I tell my son, Brandon Kaleiali‘i, to follow his dreams when I never followed my own. Thus Sullivan’s Eye is born!
