Worst haircut ever. Young kid cutting my hair barely spoke English. My hair was down to my chin and I told him to just cut the ends off as I wanted to grow it out. I even asked him if he understood and he said yes. He just kept cutting and left the back long and cut the front up past my nose. It looked awful. I went to mikes barber shop in Kailua and they fixed it. If your not picking your hairstyle of the pictures on the wall this is NOT the place you wanna go.

Came to Haiku Vet for an appointment for my dog and my gf convinced me to try this shop which I’ve noticed is usually busy(good sign!). There was a gal working on a teenage guy and we watched her do some magic on this head. The clincher for me is that for $ 15 the cut included a straight razor shave around the ears and neck– I was summoned by Anna to take the chair and she really did a fantastic cut for my $$.I will definitely return a a couple months. Don’t make an appointment– just look to see if there’s a parking space(cuz that could be an issue at Adon Plaza) and hang out for a few minutes… you won’t be sorry!

Wanted to try somewhere new. Found this place on Unilocal. The wait is long, but it’s definitely worth it. Tina’s is fast, accurate, and they still take their time cutting your hair. They updated with most of the trending haircuts too. I would recommend going there because I’m definitely going back lol.

Wanted to go get my eye brows done… And I won’t be returning… We sat there and watched everyone go before us. Then all the women stare at us said that they didn’t know we wanted our eye brows done and that we were sitting with the men in the men’s section… I’m confused there’s only one row of seats to sit in, how is there a woman’s section and a men’s section?. Maybe if you had acknowledged us when we walked in you would have known.

I’m a loyal customer at Tina Barbershop for long time. They are very nice ladies and very kind. I don’t believe in the lady name Julie. F who commented below, I don’t think it is true because I know Gina&Nam barbershop before when Tina worked there, and she was so kind too, she is even chased after customer to give back the changes that’s why I only came to Tina barbershop at kaneohe.

Tina’s barber shop delivers great customer service and hair cuts. You can’t go wrong for thirteen dollars. Tina is always welcomes you when you walk in the store and greets you with happy face. The haircuts are always on point. Excellent barber shop in Kaneohe. Only downfall is that it can get busy and the parking is limited.

I love this place! Very friendly ladies, always smile and appreciative, they do a great job, for a very reasonable price! It’s no wonder they are always busy, but it’s worth the wait. Beyond just saying I want my hair cut real short, I just let them do what they thought was the best style, I don’t get picky on details, and it’s always great! I am willing to have my hair cut by any of the ladies there, not picky about who it is. And I make sure to tip them well, they deserve it :)

Whenever my son needs a haircut, this place is always our number one choice. There’s usually a line of people waiting to cut their hair, and I observe the others as we wait my son’s turn. These women really do a great job making sure each and every customer’s haircuts are always super on point. We are never ever disappointed with Tina’s. My son usually gets his hair cut by Anna, he always insists that I tip her well.

Holly Smokes, my highlights look Amazing. I was shocked how well Tina did with my highlights because I always use to need toner to blend and it use to take forever. Tina had perfect timing with the dryer and amount of product to turn my almost black hair to blonde. With such precision, you wouldn’t expect a killer massage to boot.

Tina and her sisters have been here for a while and they will fix you up with one of the best fades on island. Though it’s named«Tina’s» her coworkers are equally talented. If there is one downside to this place, it’s the limited parking and at times can get backed up if you’re there around lunch time on a Saturday. I’d say it’s a gem in the small plaza off Kam Hwy.

I went to Tina’s for the first time today. I did some looking around on Unilocal to see where some of the best Barber shops were at in Kaneohe since I was already there. I had my hair cut by Thuy. She asked me how I wanted it cut and I showed her a picture of how I wanted it. And man oh man did she do a GREAT job copying it! It was a new style I was trying out since I just got out of the military. I definitely recommend going to Tina’s. And I think I’ll stick with Thuy any time I want to try a new do.

I downloaded Unilocal just to leave a review for Tina’s Barbershop. I got the best haircut I’ve ever had from Anna. Asked for a mid-fade which usually ends up looking weird at other places. Hers was perfect, adding head and neck massages as she cut. And finished the edging with hot lather and a single blade razor. All for ~$ 12. I won’t get my hair cut anywhere else as long as I live here.

I agree that this is an adequate haircut. As the name implies, don’t go looking for something stylish or «wow!» but expect to have shorter hair that looks just fine. I am a regular.

This is a great small barber shop in Kaneohe. I take our boys here for their haircuts regularly. It’s a small shop. Sometimes the wait can be long. Call ahead and make an appointment. Weekdays are less busy. The shop is located in Aldon Plaza in Kaneohe. Small strip mall. Parking lot is fairly small. Never had a problem with finding parking tho. Tina always does a great job on our kids hair cuts. She remembers her regulars an how they like their hair cut. Great customer service and reasonable prices. Unilocal 31 Review Challenge #19/31

I believe in giving credit where credit is due. I love Tina’s Barber Shop. I was so happy to find this place as I was getting tired of driving into town for my haircut. I had tried 3 other Kaneohe barbers and was burned with each experience. Tina’s Barber Shop is a hole in the wall barbershop in Kaneohe. Tina has owned the business for about the last 3 years when she bought out Diana’s Barbershop. When It was Diana’s, Tina cut the men’s hair and Diana did the ladies hair. Tina adopted me as a customer the first time I walked in. She asked how I wanted my hair cut. She said if she didn’t cut it just exactly the way I wanted, then, I should tell her and she would do it right the next time. She made sure I knew her name and always seemed pleased when I came back. Now that it is officially Tina’s Barber Shop she diplomatically re-assigned me to her sister(I think it’s her sister anyway). She gave her sister the details of how to cut my hair. I now get the perfect hair cut just by walking in. Best experience there ever was about a year ago. I made the mistake of going in on a Saturday morning. I got to the door and saw all the little kids and about 10 other people outside waiting. Even with all three of them cutting hair I knew it was going to be a long long wait. As I turned around at the door and headed back to the parking lot to leave, Tina spotted me and sent someone out to call me back in. When I got inside she announced that I was next and then she and another barber looked at the book and confirmed that I had an appointment. This was all for the benefit of all the people waiting! I didn’t have an appointment! Tina was paying me back for being a loyal customer. Tina doesn’t even know my name and doesn’t know what I do. She knows that I just like to get my hair cut without chit chat. Outstanding customer service that is very hard to find. Men’s haircut about $ 12.50, limited but free parking, Extra special treatment: Priceless ! PS: Actually I wrote this review awhile back and posted it. But, I think because of an address mix up or change in business name or something? there are 2 listings for the same business. But, I like Tina’s so much I’ll post my review here too.
