My ’97 Jeep Wrangler was having some problems stalling and catching gears so I brought it to Willy’s. Because the nature of the problem was unknown to me, I was expecting them to take a few days. They called me later that day and told me all I needed was a transmission filter change and fluid flush and that it would be ready next day! They also did a full inspection to make sure everything was okay. Even called me to update along the way. And my total was only around $ 200! Can’t beat that. I will definitely be back!

Willys transmission, if you want quality go here. They are very busy for a reason but they are honest and got the job done. Brought in my 2000 infiniti I30, took awhile to find the problem but it turned out to be a bad connection, they also replaced my engine mounts. They would not give me an unsafe vehicle. If you read the negative replies on here they never complain that they did bad maintenance, something to think about. I highly recommend. They honor military also.

New owner, Jerry Romero, treated us and our 1969 Bug with such class, professionalism and fairness. We got referred to this transmission shop by another top notch mechanic shop in Kailua, RNS Automotive, as they do not do trans work on classic VW and on another night when we had to get towed home, by the tow driver, so we knew this was a good place. Jerry honestly told us what the issue was, they give a detailed invoice and was reasonably priced. Jerry called my husband often, keeping him in the loop about their progress. Ends up our Bug did not need a new trans, but a new clutch pressure plate! Hubby also asked them to do an overall check on our classic and Jerry kindly adjusted the points on the distributor, no extra charge! That’s going above and beyond for a customer! He shared he used to race V-​Dub Bugs back in the day, so we could see how passionate he still is about this make and model of car. My husband and I are very satisfied customers and will come back to see Jerry for our vehicle maintenance and repair, as they not only do transmission services.

First let me start by saying, the customer service was TERRIBLE! They had my car for over two weeks and never called once to update me on the progress since they needed to order the parts for it. So, unless I personally called I was left in the dark about everything. When it came time to pick up the car, they called and said it wasn’t going to be ready because they PUT THE WRONG PART IN IT! That was aggravating and a rookie mistake! So that pushed back the pick up date even longer. They are pricey but the owner was flexible considering what needed done so that was the only good thing that happened out of this experience.

I was having transmission problems so my husband took it here. Soon after I found out I had Manufactory warranty but the dealership was giving me all kinds of trouble. When I called Willys to tell them that I had warranty and would not need their help they were so nice. The mechanic even offered to talk to the dealership for me. I was so amazed how i didn’t even had to pay them yet they were offering their help to help me deal with the dealership. Thank you so much guys! Truly honest hard working people work here!

So glad I choose this place over any known chain autorepair shop. Very helpful, and knowledgable! I’d recommend these guys to everyone :)

NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!! I took my car in, was told it would be done the next day by 11:00 am (so I only get a rental until 11:00). Call the next morning, the man who answered the phone is very rude, answering my «What time will I be able to pick my car up» with «It will be done when I get to it. The sooner I get off the phone with you, the sooner I can get back to my other jobs and eventually your car. I am very busy».
Will NEVER be going back, and will NEVER recommend them. HORRIBLE!!!

Amazing shop. Ritto helped me out. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. This is by far one of the most honest and reliable shops I have ever been to. They do more than just Trans work. They are usually pretty busy so be sure to call ahead.

This place sucks the lady is arguing with you after the fact that she quoted you a price then you go their and its another price more expensive, then she gives you no choice tells you that you have to pay their new price or you don’t get your car back. Then she starts getting into this story of how long they have been in business and how we don’t know nothing about cars and in all honesty makes you wanna punch somebody. Beware of this place they act like they are there to help by all they want is money for doing nothing to your car

Excellent work. This is a small business that is focused on repairing your vehicle, not necessarily customer support. I had to call them to get the answers I needed. They are a little on the expensive side but they do quality work. I will be going back if I need more work done.
