I had several keys copied for the office at this place yesterday and am very pleased with the service. Although the store is located on a very busy segment of Main Street there is plentiful parking behind the building if you take Walnut Street. I dropped off 5 keys that each needed 4 copies, came back in a couple of hours, and they were ready! $ 34.00 for everything — not bad. The guy who made them was nice enough. I just tested all the copies out and they work — awesome! This will be my go to place for key copies in the future.

My kid lost her car keys. She’s grown, so this should have been her problem, but she was visiting from out of town, so if I had made her pay for it herself, she would have been at my house another night and would have missed work. I called A to Z, and someone answered. That right there placed them into the heavens in contrast to the other locksmiths who just didn’t answer. Do I want to call a locksmith, play phone tag, and schedule something for three days later? Nope! It’s an emergency, and I want help now! A to Z answered, suggested I call back 45 minutes later when the evening guy was on duty, and quoted me a price(that ended up being a little over the actual cost). The guy on night duty was very helpful and arrived within 45 minutes of my call. Within 30 minutes, he had made a new key for my baby’s hoopdie, swiped my card, and left us with a key to start the car. Reliable, helpful, and affordable, considering the irresponsibility that led to this situation. I would use them again.

Why go to a hardware store that doesnt specialize in making keys?! They have made me dozens of copies… Because Im paranoid and make copies of everything. I give them to trusted people just in case. Yes Im a nut job! LOL They are fast and good guys. No BS… Come in and get out and on with your day. They have a back entrance on Walnut with parking between 40th and 39th. They do house keys, car keys, whatever keys, they got locks, bolts, keychains… And if they key is sticky… Bring it back and they can brush it out.

What do you do when you throw your keys away because they were in the same hand with the trash? Did you decide it wasn’t worth it, then found out how much it really cost to get all of those computer chipped keys made over again? If you are a city dweller like myself, the thought of what you might run against in that trash will stop you dead in your tracks. What if you bought a 1978 Kawasaki motorcycle, but you don’t have the key to the seat cover? What about that 1903 Hyde Park home that has the original doors to them, wouldn’t it be splendid if you could get a skeleton key that actually worked to the doors? This and so much more can be done here. The knowledge they have from so many different types of keys and situations. This place has gotten me out of big trouble for years. They create miracles with metals.
