Terrible experience at bed bath and beyond. Spent $ 100 on a Xmas gift for my mom who has Parkinson’s. Tried to return the gift without receipt and only got $ 50 store credit which cannot be used online. Since my mom can barely leave the house, I might as well just lit $ 100 on fire. Won’t be back to buy their junky items ever. Zero stars

I’m reviewing this location solely based on my experience with the Bridal Consultants and our wedding registry. We registered sometime in early 2013 and my best advice is if you feel like you already know the things you do and do not want on your registry is to start your registry online prior to going into the store and then just telling them that you simply want to add items to your registry. This will save you from having to listen to them about china patterns and appliances that you aren’t interested in and being followed around the store by the ‘helpful’ representative. After our wedding day passed, we were contacted by Jessica who invited us to a Registry Completion Event. At first I blew it off, but this was the only way to get 20% off all the items left on our registry. In the mail, they sent us a coupon, but it was only for 10% everything and that is total garbage considering how many 20% off 1 item coupons that litter this planet. Anyway, the event was on a Sunday night and it was actually kinda fun. There was food and we won a raffle prize which was a nice set of Pyrex. When we got there, Jessica printed off our registry and it listed what was in the store and what had to be ordered. We had to order 1 item and it was still 20% off and they shipped it for free to our home. I’ll admit the sales people were a little intense at the event. While they didn’t pressure us to purchase anything additional, they did earn points or something whenever they placed a «Beyond» order online and so they would ask us every 5 minutes if we needed help. However, for free food, free Pyrex and 20% off everything it was worth our time to go to the event. Once we were done, Jessica helped us figure out if we qualified for any free items and we did get a free knife set for registering for $ 100 in cutlery. She was incredibly helpful the entire process and would recommend working with her if you get a chance. We only registered at Bed Bath & Beyond and Target and got almost all of our items on the BBB registry, but barely anything from Target. I think this is because BBB makes it really easy to order and find the registry items. BBB also has a really nice website that is easy to pick items off of. Target has a wider range of furniture and outdoor goods, but it is confusing to purchase off of the website, very few items have pictures and a lot of the stuff is seasonal which isn’t helpful when registering 6 – 9 months before the wedding. We didn’t have anything go out of stock on our BBB registry, but almost 15 items on our Target one.

I think they are a bit over-priced, but really, I could seriously go in to this store and spend a whole lot of money that I don’t have. There are entirely too many little gadgets that I would probably never, EVER use, but wow would they look spiffy in my kitchen. My best bit of advice is if someone you know EVER registers for a wedding here, they make picking out, purchasing and even WRAPPING the gifts incredibly easy. OK, so the free wrapping is BBB bags and tissue, but it’s FREE. And for FREE, I can spend more money on the GIFT – and that, my friends is truly the important part. Seriously – here would be my plan: Spend $ 100 on the gift, get the free tissue and bag, spend $ 5 – 7 on some oober quirkly little gaddget and use the FREE ribbon to TIE the oober quirky gadget to the outside of the bag. INSTANTCOOL deco for the otherwise kinda plain bag. And it is soooooo environmentally friendly. No unused deco on the bag to litter a landfill, and your gift says«I’m unique»!!!vv
