This place is pretty good though, some things are a bit pricey. If you order the queso dip, it’s about 5 bucks and you get about 5 dips with a chip’s worth of cheese. Seriously. Cheese is probably one of the cheapest things they have, purchased in bulk, melted. Disappointment. Also, the churros are good, large but pretty greasy. And the fried tacos are really greasy. I’ve had the fried beef and the tacos de papas(potato tacos) and both are fried and pretty greasy. It’s as if the oil isn’t quite hot enough, so the tortillas just soak up all the grease, and then some. Otherwise, this is a pretty good place.

We visited the location at 3959 Broadway. The only reason I’m giving a 4 is because I never give 5 on a first visit! The food was just perfect! The enchiladas were superior – I’ve never had such great tasting tortillas in an enchilada! The beans were perfect – not too smooth. I got a tamale on the side and it was the 2nd best tamale I’ve eaten – not dry – had some yummy sauce on it! Portions are HUGE! Let’s talk salsa… hot sauce is THEBEST! Green sauce is tasty and mild sauce(mixed with the hot) is perfect if you can’t handle he hot! I had a Coronarita to drink and it had NO triple Sec(which I hate!!) This drink was so good and so refreshing and not tasting like it was from a machine! The ONLY thing I didn’t like is that you stand and order at the front… I would much rather be able to sit at a table and look over a menu… but the place is clean and bright and pleasant! Staff was very helpful… maybe a little too much asking several times what I wanted or if I had questions(not the worst thing that could happen). Will definitely return!

Visit their roomy location on Broadway just a few blocks from their old one that, last I knew, they still operate on Pennsylvania. The same friendly folks, the same delicious Jr. burrito(Jr. ha! It is huge!) and fish or shrimp tacos. Oh, and be sure to try the horchata if you overdo the chilis. Note: they only have outdoor seating at their old location on Pennsylvania

Tiny little hole-in-the-wall joint right across from Char Bar, it’s fast & fresh, and the street tacos are good. ¡Authentico! Service was very friendly. Not much space, there’s only six or eight tables inside(and a few more out on the patio.) Awesome salsa bar is also very fresh. Definitely worth a stop.

This is a cute little joint tucked out of sight in Westport. I don’t like Westport but I like this place. It’s fairly easy to get in and out of, I just wait until after the lunch rush. The food is good and the prices are reasonable.

Not bad. I had the 2 street tacos and a fried taco. The prices fit the proportions. Look forward to going back and trying something else.

I decided to go here for lunch cause it seems everyone at Saint Lukes love this place and order from here almost every other day. So, today I tried it. Mind you it is no longer at the Pennsylvania address, but now located north of Westport off of Broadway . I parked in the back cause on street parking was taken. Glad I did this during the day. I’d think twice if I parked in the back at night. Walked in greeted by Hispanic music. Nice. It is small and the mgr greeted me and took orders. Everything is right there to see: the kitchen, the food prep, drinks, silverware etc. The mgr could tell I have been in there before and told me the specials menu: looks like a special for each weekday. So I ordered Friday’s: beef or bean burrito, guacamole, salsa chips Mexican sour cream(I cannot think of the name but I like it) it isn’t as dairy as American sour cream which tastes like heavy milk to me. I paid my $ 7.00 bucks and it was a meal and proceeded to gather my salsas(I choose tomatillo and regular salsa) and got my drink made and grab my utensils the food was ready for me. Mind you I always look around an ethnic restaurant to see who is eating here. I especially look around to see if any persons of that particular culture I’m eating at eats there. I have always done this since college. For example, if I’m at a Korean restaurant I expect to see some Koreans. Same for Vietnamese etc. why? Cause this tells me whether or not it is authentic. And yes there were a few Mexicans(and yes I know the difference) eating there. So I think it is gonna be good . And yep, I was right. This is authentic and cheap. No wonder my co workers eat here almost every other day and especially on pay day. The portions are HUGE! And I was full but not unable move after I eat unlike some restaurants. Oh it was a rice and beef burrito and man, did he give lot of food. I thought it was a lot. The whole container was filled. I entered my meal in the app MyFitnessPal and it stated it was loaded with protein which is what I’ve been lacking. Good food will try something else next time . Oh in case you may not know, but they deliver if in the area and it is fast delivery even on busy days. I would try this. Oh yeah they also serve drinks there too. I didn’t try any cause I had to go work later that day.

This review is for the one on Broadway that opened over the summer. It’s not good. Plain and simple. MAYBE if I was drunk walking home from westport Id stop in again. Seriously doubt it though. Everything is bland as hell. Drenched my nachos in the hottest salsa they had and still didn’t taste like anything. Terrible terrible food. Just don’t do it.

Grabbed lunch here today and it was awesome. Scarfed down three enchiladas and they were some of the best I’d had. Definitely worth a try.

This place is pretty good fast Mexican… I order a cheese quesadilla with chips and salsa and a side of beans. Very fast service and not over priced. It is small for eating in but not bad. I would go back.

Came in about 6pm on a Sunday. When I walked in, the place was completely dead. A few more customers trickled in over the next half hour. I ordered a burrito, and chips/salsa. My food arrived quickly, and everyone was very polite. The chips were ok, just a touch greasy but I’ve had worse. The burrito was solid, not exactly authentic, but accessible and had decent flavor. The mild salsa was very good. Just a bit of kick, and a nice fresh cilantro flavor with some chunks of fresh tomato. The«hot» tomatillo salsa wasn’t very hot and was a little watery. The«very hot» salsa was more of medium but had a nice habanero flavor and a burn that creeps up on you. Overall, food is decent if a smidge pricey. A pleasant experience. It is what it is, and what it is isn’t bad.

Taco Tuesday, this little gem in Westport is well known by all collage students and hipsters alike. Great food at a great price and on some days it even gets cheaper with their every day specials. They are not my favorite taco place but the asada taco comes pretty damn close.

I went there and got sick off the tacos. When I brought it to the so called«owners» attention he told me it was my fault for ordering that food item and that there was nothing he could do for me!

I had always been hesitant to try Cancun Fresh — seems a little out of place. Glad I did! I got the lunch special — mostly because I didn’t want to scan the menu for too much longer.(I was the only person there — but there seemed to be several delivery/take out orders via phone.) I had the Monterey burrito — good mix of rice, beans and chicken. The sauze was really flavorful. One downside — they put the chips inside the same to go container, so they were soggy by the time I went to eat them. I did save the salsa and eat it with other chips later. Just the right amount of cilantro. The staff was friendly, and the in house seating looked clean.

Meh. Tried it again. Taco Tuesday special. The beef isn’t even seasoned. At all. Taco shells taste stale. Couldn’t finish them. Have had other things previously, like deep fried tacos, rice and beans. Below average. Scratching it off the list.

hmm… not sure if we came on an off night but the food quality was low. small friendly family joint located in a warehouse vibe building. fish tacos were very fishy, over fried/dry, and chewy carne asada tacos were rubbery, over cooked, and not fresh margaritas were strong and refreshing Ehhhhhh

Perfect crossbreed of Mexican food between«boulevard Mex» and«KCK Mex»! It is the best of both food types. Each and every time I have been here the food has been excellent and the service is so great! They do not have«huge» menses like the«Mexican» restaurants on the boulevard; but what they do have is «quality»; and in my humility, I think I can safely state that there is a food law that can be put in mathematical form. «Quality of food»(we call this Qf) plus friendly service(Sf) equals a excellent meal(Fe) and return visits(Vr). The law: Qf + Sf = Fe+Vr^x. Plus you can eat pretty healthy here too! The horchata is so so good that I think I am going to go eat there tonight! Prices are low, food is actually very fresh & tasty, what more could one ask for? a 5th star, well, you see those are hard to come by. I will always be a fan of fiesta fresh!!!

Not a fan, sorry. Everything was very bland. There was no taste at all to my street tacos, so I had to douse them in their salsa. The beans were just OK. The rice was different, tasty. I guess I’m spoiled by the tacos in Texas. The others got fried tacos and said they were OK. Not enough beef to bean ratio they said. I did not find them that cheap, really. Almost $ 40 for 4 combo plates and drinks, that’s pretty average. Doubt we return.
