I am sad sad SAD that we didn’t discover this place when it had its own location. It’s now contained to a large booth at the Sunday-​only Cowtown Mallroom. It’s packed full of records, books, and musical stuff. My husband and I left the booth with a Lovin Spoonful record, a huge Beatles Anthology coffee table book, and — maybe our best purchase ever — Remo «paddle drums,» which is like ping pong /​tennis, but with paddles that are actual drums! We got out of there at $ 43, which was less than we expected for our items.
I’m sorry they’re no longer in their old location, but wishing Halcyon all the best here in this spot.
