Specialties

James Hale Photography specializes in on-location portrait photography. We will do your portraits in any location you desire: home, park, city or country location, etc. on your time table, not ours! There are many types of portraits, but we strive to capture the «real you» on film so it will be something you can be proud of. Family, Children, Individual, Senior Graduation, Maternity and Professional (Headshots) Portraits are what we are well-versed in. We also do love to do team portraits of all kinds; big kids, little kids, schools, pros, baseball, dance, debate — if it’s a team, we’ve done it! If you insist on studio portraits, we can set up a studio in your home or office, at your convenience, to produce studio portraits for you.

You are also likely to see us at events, all kinds of events. We have worked with the MS Society for many years taking photographs of the event itself and sharing our work with them. Anniversaries, Birthdays, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and just about any other type of event — we can cover it.

We also like to do what we call Business Portraits. We work with the Google Street View team in getting your business on the internet. If you would like your business to be exposed to your customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, then give us a call and we will give you a quote. Let your customers see your business first hand and they’ll be more likely to come visit you in person!

History

Established in 2013.

As a photographer, I’ve worked for many years for other studios and companies. I decided to start on my own and do the business that I love without having to be told exactly what I should be doing and as such, James Hale Photography was born.

Meet the Business Owner

James H.

Business Owner

I started my career as a photographer taking pictures of babies in K-Marts and other department stores. I believe that’s also where I learned patience. When you have an hour-long line of kids under 2 years old and their mothers, you begin to learn what is important and what isn’t. Needless to say, I looked for something else. I found it. I joined the Navy.

When I got out of the Navy, I still found that I loved photography and found a job as a portrait photographer with Olan Mills Portrait Studios. And that’s where it started.

If you want to read the full bio, go to my website and click on the «about» page. I would have put it all here, but I’m only limited to 1000 characters and once you meet me, you’ll realize why 1000 characters just isn’t enough to say what I have to say!

I hope to meet and talk with you soon!
