Mr Goodcents Subs & Pastas

CAUTION: FUCKTARDS AT WORK.
I wish I could bold and italicize that. My visit to this particular Goodcents left me infuriated.
I worked at Goodcents all throughout high school and am definitely partial to it verses Subway. But I will NEVER visit this location ever again. Five absolute MORONS working the line (Really? Five? We used to run a store with two employees, total). Two of them on their cell phones. Every single one NOT listening to me and about to put the wrong ingredients on my sandwich.
The credit card machine was down, which they couldn’t help, but the guy who I can only assume was the manager was sitting on an errant bucket, watching shit go down and not helping or talking to customers and explaining the situation.
Never stepping foot in this location again.

I have a serious love hate relationship with Mr Goodcents. Specifically, I love every other Goodcents I’ve been to, and I hate the one off of Main.
Going in is always a sketchy experience. It’s kinda dirty, and full of undesirables. Fortunately, I’m rarely in that part of town anymore, and the one in Westport isn’t exactly far away, so I’ll just drive there instead. However, this is the location that delivers to me, so when I don’t feel like leaving the house and I want a sandwich, these are the jokers I have to deal with.
Today was one of those days. At 1:00 they only had wheat bread left (WTF???) and the guy on the phone really didn’t seem to understand the concept of how to take an order. LONG process.
I gave my address and even confirmed to him exactly what part of town it was in. He said it’d be delivered in 20 minutes. I said that was really fast, and he said they were slow. I was happy for a moment.
Cut to 70 minutes later and still no food. I called to see what was going on, and the guy on the phone simply said it was coming. Finally it arrives and the ghetto-​fabulous delivery driver just said «here», as she pushed the bag off to me. She went on to continue with how she doesn’t even drive to this part of town and that she didn’t know where she was going. I said that I had gotten delivery quite a few times before, and she told me that she was the delivery driver and she’d never been here before, insinuating that I didn’t know what i was talking about.
I go inside and open up my food. My sandwich is all smashed up and all the ice in my soda is melted.
Goodbye delivery Goodcents, we just just had our last meeting.

Not that impressive.
The subs here are as generic as Subway, although not even that «good».
You know… I can’t even come up with anything pseudo-​clever or interesting. What are you doing? Just go to Planet Sub. It’s better, probably comparable in price and has way more street cred for you obnoxious hipsters out there.

I love every minute of these sammys. They have delish banana peppers and kettle chips. Hot and cold sandwiches and other fare (I haven’t tried the pastas).
This location isn’t my fave, but a good sammy is a good sammy.
