Nerdtastic Math Tutors

So … after all the years, I received my associates degree in Mathematics, Engineering and Natural Science. I credit Danielle with much of my success because she helped me develop study habits and thought processes that carried me through my undergraduate courses.
I am transferring to UC Davis this fall and wish Danielle was closer. You are very lucky Kansas City.

Danielle is a «great» tutor and she does indeed give the best, «High-​Fives,» which are appreciated even by a middle-​aged, non-​traditional student, like myself! She is casual, which is relaxing and aids the learning process. She delivers her help in an enthusiastic and positively contagious manner. I really appreciated her «down to earth» approach to my difficulties and challenges. At the end of each session, I felt and believed, «I ‘can do’ this!» Her expertise was instrumental to my success this semester. I will definitely call on her again when I tackle Calculus next semester.
I highly recommend Danielle. She will be a great mathematics tutor for a student of any age.

Let me begin by saying that I have attempted College Algebra three times, and three times I have dropped it out of sheer frustration, confusion, and hopelessness. If you are like me and feel like math is just something that you’ll never «get», it is time to give Danielle a call.
From the first time you meet with Danielle, it will be clear to you that you are not in for the usual math learning experience. She is cool, laid back and has a great sense of humor, which means everything to someone like me with major math anxiety. Furthermore, you will NEVER feel stupid working with Danielle; She is the poster child of patience, laughing it off, trying to explain it another way and helping you work through whatever mental roadblock you’re hitting. If you had told me a few months ago that I would actually look FORWARD to learning math, I just couldn’t have believed it, because I never even thought learning math was something I was capable of. But now? Working through problems all by myself while Danielle watches on and silently nods in approval. Getting 100% on EVERY homework assignment. No joke. Danielle has literally worked miracles for me.
Oh, and did I mention how ridiculously affordable her services are? When I began searching for tutors, I was getting quotes in the $ 55-​$ 65/​hour range, and I actually contemplated it because, well, more money means they must be REALLY awesome, right? Don’t be a sucker– Danielle is the best bang for your buck.
I could go on forever singing her praises, because frankly, she deserves it and I just don’t know where I would be without her. Actually, I do know– probably homeless under a bridge somewhere because I decided I would just never finish college because of the stupid math requirement.
But seriously. If you, your kids, your brother or your dog* are looking for a math tutor, your search can just stop here.
*She might not actually be able to tutor a dog. But really, how is your dog in school anyway?

Danielle is FANTASTIC! She makes math fun, while taking the teaching/​learning VERY seriously. My daughter looks forward to her tutoring sessions with Danielle. I have tried others tutors, but Danielle is the only one where the math actually sinks in and stays with my daughter. She is THE BEST!

Danielle is awesome. I am horrible at math and Danielle got my failing test grades to a B. Every time I went for a session, I would see results on the next test. Math is not my strongest subject, but if you are willing to learn, Danielle is able to help.

There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about Danielle. She is currently helping me in college chemistry and trigonometry. As a student and working part-​time, it sometimes can put me on a top ramen noodle night budget. However she is worth it, I love how it’s not always so serious when it comes to studying. We have our laughs here and there and our stupid jokes. She is there to help me understand the material more and to show me the step by step process. Of course it is still your job to study outside of class and practice practice practice! Trust me if she sucked I would not sit through 45 minutes of traffic once a week to see her.

I hadn’t taken a math class in over ten years when I recently decided to take the GRE to get into graduate school. In just six weeks of tutoring, Danielle has helped me feel confident and ready for a test that includes algebra, arithmetic, and geometry. Her explanations and encouragement made me feel comfortable and helped me fall in love with math again!
Danielle is definitely a gifted teacher and any student would thrive under her direction and patience!

Danielle has been tutoring me this semester in Physics 2B. Boy do I wish I met her last semester! She is a life saver. She is super flexible with her schedule and meeting places and she is SUPER affordable. Finding a good tutor is definitely a hard thing to do but trust me, if you are considering hiring Danielle you have found one! She explains things in a very straightforward fashion and will go over them with you until you get it. Oh, and she never makes you feel like an idiot!
I highly, highly, highly recommend her. I’ve paid top dollar for UCB tutors who were far inferior. This girl KICKS ASS.
