Pigment Pie is also the ONLY business in the greater Kansas City area that body paints at a professional caliber. From arms and legs to full bodies, we’ve got you covered!

History

Established in 2005.

I first discovered this talent at the Celtic Block Party hosted by Governor Stumpy’s in Brookside. The owner, Kevin, was so wonderful for giving me the opportunity to try my hand at something I had never done before — paint faces. It turns out that I had a latent ability, and it was a huge success! I still love going to the block party every chance I get to help him raise money for a good cause.

Since then, things have gone up and up, and I’ve had many fun and interesting collaborations along the way with some very talented people!

In January of 2009, I went to Orlando, Florida and competed in a national contest for Full Face Designs. I took the first-​place trophy home for it. I also competed in a national contest for Body Painting and received fifth-​place. These awards spurred the next chapter in my life: instructing. I continue to travel all over the country, compete, and teach, and I am the only award-​winning face and body artist in the greater Kansas City area.
