History
Established in 2014.
We opened the «new» Matchbox in the fall of 2014, after moving into a larger, more updated space. The new location is just one block SW of the «old» Matchbox. We were closed for three months while awaiting approval for out new liquor license.
We are currently up and running, offering daily lunch specials, happy hour 3 – 7 Mon thru Sat, and live music on the weekends!

Business Owner
Beth was the night bartender at the «old» Matchbox when they opened in 2011. She worked there until June of 2013. She returned as the owner in July of 2014. Within two weeks, she realized that we had no room to grow. As luck would have it, a space became available further down the boulevard. The new space was almost 3x the size of the old Matchbox! The landlord had updated many appliances, including new central air units.
It was meant to be!
