I’ve done two introductory tree climbing classes with Dan and Stan and had tons of fun both times. You learn how to get into the equipment and get comfortable hoisting yourself up the ropes and high into the tree branches. Dan and Stan are very patient and love to laugh. You can tell they really love what they do. If you are looking for a unique way to spend your morning or afternoon, this is it. They will take kids 8 and above. You may get a few sore muscles, but you don’t have to be particularly athletic to enjoy this. They usually partner with Olathe or Shawnee Mission Parks and Recs, or they have a calendar on their website.
