The pharmacy department they all have no customer service, there rude, snobby and I went here to fill my son prescription and the pharmacists gave my son the wrong dosage on 1 of his MEDS and didn’t give me 2 more MEDS that’s his doctors office called in. They tired to fight me for there mistakes and the customers always right .MIND you I was waiting over here almost a hr half and they kept saying
son Dr COZ they didn’t get any papers or calls about his other 2.meds. So my Dr office called them and they resolved everything again If they don’t like there job they should have another place & occupation to do !!! AIN’T EVER COMING HERE AGAIN & I GIVE THIS PLACE NO STARS !!! ANY PLACE IS BETTER THAN HERE. If you want wrongs dosage for your MEDS, poor customer service, rudeness, snobby attitudes, the wait is over half hour then come here.

I’ve never been a fan of Kmart. Too overpriced for my cheap behind. I come here for the large Hawaiian grown large Zucchinis.

Unlike the one on Guam, this place is dead. Which is a good thing cause u have the whole place to yourself and so many items are in stock. Most of the people were just hanging out at little Caesers and watching the tv.

I had to go to Home Depot to pick some items up. Mom was getting hungry but it was only 10:30am. She said a slice of pizza from KMart would do. Kewl, cuz it’s just right next door.
I’ve been to several on the mainland and they were always messy. That’s why I wasn’t too thrilled going in. However, that wasn’t the case here. it was very clean. Things were not out of place, go back carts were nonexistent and very good customer service. While mom was eating I walked around. Everyone I saw asked if we needed help. At other locations, they avoid you like the plague. With that feeling revised I’ll be coming to this KMart more often.
I wasn’t looking for anything and didn’t need anything, nothing bought. There were some items I saw at great prices. I’ll have to get my allowance increased so I can shop here.

Recently on December 3, 2015 I tried to check in at Kapolei Kmart and Unilocal told me that I was not near the establishment. I looked at the Unilocal page of Kmart and noticed that the address was correct only the Google Map location was totally off. Who made the changes for Kapolei Kmart to be located somewhere on the mainland United States.
Now that I got that out of the way… Kapolei Kmart is one of the places that I would go to for purchasing some books, music CDs, and clothing items. Most recently I purchased a new Velcro Armitron watch. Yes I still love to turn the pages of a book. Yes I enjoy listening to music CDs from different musicians. The only time I would purchase clothing items from Kapolei Kmart are when I need work pants, socks, and feminine underwear. Once in a great while I would purchase some snacks or drinks from the grocery side of the establishment. Sometimes I would even purchase some hygiene products that I need for home.
There’s a lumpia stand right next to the entrance of Kmart. Inside of Kmart there’s Little Ceasars. If you forgot to bring cash with you there’s a Bank of Hawaii ATM on the premises near the entrance/​exit. I love that the Sears credit card and Shop Your Way rewards card can be used at Kmart.
Customer service counter is on the right hand side as soon as you enter the building. A person can load up money onto their prepaid debit cards at the customer service counter.
Each time that I have visited Kapolei Kmart the establishment has always been clean and the workers are very friendly.

I actually like this Kmart, and in a few ways better than Walmart lol. I needed to kill time so I decided to stroll around in Kmart for a while and was reminded why I like Kmart.
For starters it’s never crowded! Lol yeah I’m that excited about that. It’s just personal preference but I prefer non crowded places. Also it seems that there is always something on sale and on clearance. They actually have a great selection of kids clothes, and a big part of it is on sale. I bought a few toddler dresses for about 5 – 6 dollars each, and they are really cute, summer dress type.
They also have a better selection of shoes and footwear than at Walmart, and guess what there was also a sale. The plus side is that they have larger sized footwear, which Walmart does not have unless you want slippers. There were cute sandals on sale for 5 to 7 dollars. There were sales all over the place lol.
The employees have always been nice, though it seems there aren’t many. The lady at customer service desk was nice and easy to chat with and I made a no hassle exchange on a clearance item in no time. (Bought the wrong size).
Overall I guess many of the things here can be bought at Walmart for cheaper which is why it’s never crowded but there is so much things to find and sales that made it to me better than shopping at Walmart or target. Also it’s a plus there is little Caesar in store and lumpia cart outside lol.

Not my favorite Kmart on the island but it’s conveniently close. Prices are often better at Target or Walmart but this Kmart is never ever crowded which is a nice plus.
Picked up some Kapolei High school gear which is nice. My son goes to school on the mainland but likes to wear gear from Hawaii. It’s seasonal though, and can only be found a few weeks before school starts.
The Little Caesars inside offers decent food at reasonable prices. Of course it’s fast food, so don’t expect gourmet.

Location:
They are located in the heart of Kapolei near Consolidated Theatre. There is a huge parking lot just for Kmart.
Merchandise:
Kmart sells clothes, household items, furniture, outdoor items, toiletries and etc. We recently bought a futon from here after comparing prices with another store.
Food:
There is a Little Caesar inside Kmart. They sell pizza, breadsticks and etc. There is a lumpia stand outside the entrance of Kmart as well.
Overall, this is a great alternative to Walmart and Target. I’m glad I compared prices and am very happy with the futon I bought from here.

Kmart is your basic big box store with a little extra tucked away inside.
I’m giving 4 stars for the hidden produce gems I discovered a few weeks ago. I recalled seeing a small display of produce, so checked in to see if they had onions since I needed some and since it’s a quick walk to Kmart from my office. They not only had Aloun farms local Ewa Sweet onions by the bag ($ 2.99), but also some great looking large zucchini – 2 large per bag for just $ 2. That’s what I pay for 2 mediums at farmer’s market! I could tell that they were very recently delivered because they were colder than the store’s room temperature (not kept in the refrigerator section). I also saw bananas and a few other produce items. From now on, when I don’t need Costco amounts of produce, I’ll take a short walk to Kmart and see what they have in stock!

I enjoy shopping at Kmart kapolei where else your gonna find a retail store that gives back to there customers. You get points in every department, they have more merchandise that is stock «not like Wal-​Mart» were there’s hardly anything on their shelf. The workers there go’s over and beyond for their members. Just imagine if Kmart shut down were would those workers go? We should stop talking bad about Kmart and support our people by continuing shopping there.

I recently went shopping in Kmart… and it reminded why I like Kmart so much!

It’s a nice well priced store. Customer service is great. They are a bit disorganized sometimes and really cluttered. Seems like things don’t get sold so they have to mark down a lot to sell it while new merchandise had to come out.

I think the main reason I shop here a lot is because I feel so bad for them. They were here first but Walmart and Target totally took over. I don’t understand why people think this place is so ghetto.
Lots of parking because the store is usually pretty empty. Walk in and the store is always clean and inviting. If you come here at the end of a season, you’re sure to get cute clothes on clearance. Especially spring clearance. They had racks of clothes for a dollar a piece! There are always price drops and clearance shelves for food and other household goods as well. Also cheap cosmetics!
They’ve got electronics, a pharmacy that will also fill your pets medications, lawn and garden, etc. Just like Walmart but less crowds!
Invest in a KMart/​Sears rewards card. The points are even redeemable at any Little Caesars located inside any KMart. Rewards members also receive coupons after every shopping trip!
The only sucky thing might have to be that there is usually only one register open and a line can build fast during certain times of the day. But all the workers are helpful and polite.

It’s no wonder that K Mart is not doing good as a company. The return policy compared to their competitors is horrible. Add that to other factors such merchandise selection, customer service, and brand reputation, you have a company clearly on the fall.
I returned diapers to Walmart without a receipt that we got from our baby shower and had absolutely no problem. The other two boxes the Walmart employee pointed out was K Mart which was helpful unlike K Mart who should be rethinking their business if they want to stay afloat. I didn’t like K Mart already but now I’m set on never going there again.

Store is really big, bright, and organized. Most times it’s organized except for the holidays, which is to be expected.
You can find most things here, even food items. Pharmacy, exercise, electronics, etc.
If you get hungry they have a Caesars pizza station for us hungry shoppers.
Staff is friendly as can be, no problems.
Check out their weekly ads cuz they to have good sales!

I guess some people think this place and demographic is «ghetto». I think that’s a bit harsh and unnecessarily rude. Gotta understand this is located in Kapolei and a lot of people/​families of various income levels shop her. I’d imagine people would come here to shop for products and service, not judge shoppers. Anyways, Kmart is Kmart. Sometimes they have really good deals, sometimes they don’t. Sometimes the quality of the products are good, sometimes it’s not. I generally come here to shop for bath supplies, cold/​allergy medicines and occasionally for bed accessories. oh and Sofia vergara watches :) those are well worth the cheap prices!

Went to Kmart today because I wanted to grab something to snack on. There appeared to have a lot of sale on the clearance toys with additional 20%. Great purchase for those of you thinking of buying for your little ones or for the holidays as gifts for the children.
I don’t shop here much as I prefer WalMart, however, I couldn’t believe my receipt, it was attached with three great coupons $ 5.00 of $ 35.00 purchase. Cool — and of course some other great offers. There are wonderful deals here. Didn’t see the Halloween costumes for sale, they were all still regular priced.

Kmart Kmart Kmart… sigh. I don’t shop here often because of very poor customer service and often times though an item might be on sale the registers don’t ring it up as such. So peeps if you shop here, make sure to check your receipt when being rung up.
On my most recent visit. I picked up a few things, paid for it, and then crammed the receipt and credit card into my purse. When I got to the exit, a worker stopped me and asked to see my receipt. I thought they only check receipts for items that weren’t bagged, hmmm, oh well. As I was rummaging through my purse, my mom asks why she needed the receipt when everything was bagged. Her response «new policy, receipt please». My mom hands over her receipt and the lady barely glimpsed at it before handing it back and telling her she can exit the store. The worker doesn’t even look in her shopping bags to see if the receipt matches the items that are in there. My mom asked if the lady was going to check the shopping bags and the worker said she just needed to SEE the receipt NOT CHECK what was in the shopping bag. Doesn’t make much sense to me but whatever, I was still trying to find my receipt, fully aware that I’m now backing up the exit. I step aside and I hear the worker telling people to get their receipts out and ready for her to see. A few people pass and I’m now practically dumping my purse in the shopping cart, when the lady says, «you know what? I saw you guys paying for your stuffs so you can go» OMG WTH!!!
Another time, it was around the holidays and the store was pretty busy. There were lots of people lined up waiting to check out but only 3 cash registers open. There were about 10 people in each line. Of course I pick the line that is barely moving, in fact it didn’t move at all. I was the 3^rd person in line. It looked like the cashier was trying to convince the customer to sign up for a credit card because she was showing her the application. This went on for a several minutes and then the customer started filling out the form, while the cashier stood there and watched her. Mind you the customer had already check out. Now people in Hawaii are generally patient but this was getting annoying. Some people behind me were getting out of line and going to different registers. A few were complaining loudly. So what does the cashier do? She announces her lane is now closed, turns off her light and tells everyone to go to a different register. The people who were next in line already had their things on the belt. They walked out. The people in front of me left their cart and walked out. I did the same thing.
On my way out, I went to customer service and spoke to the manager and told him what had happened. The cashier could’ve handled the situation better. Common sense tells you to ring people up and have the customer who’s applying for a credit card to fill out the form on the side. The manager was apologetic and offered to ring me up but I declined. I told him there were at least 3 abandoned carts in her lane.
After that incident I’ve been to Kmart once (my most recent visit). Sad to say, I most likely won’t be going back here. Now that Kapolei has a Wal-​Mart, Kmart better step up their game, People are faithful to stores that have good customer service and unfortunately Kmart has lost their sense of what customer service is all about.

Hrm, how to be short and sweet? Upon entering the store, it appears dirty and unorganized. Most of the demographics here, including the staff, are GHETTO. I passed by the jewelry section on my way to find twine, and the sales associate looked like she just woke up — complete with bird’s nest hair, slutty clothes, homemade ghetto tattoos on her hands and missing teeth. One nice manager helped me find some twine, which I appreciate (Thus the two stars). The cashier however, stared me down and gave me my change complete with dirty hands and black fingernails. Ick…
I’ll opt for Target instead.
