Makakilo Baptist Church

Beautiful looking church inside and out. Very clean. The Pastor is either in his late 20s to mid 30s. Casually dressed in jeans and a collared shirt with the sleeves rolled up. The congregation was mixed and various styles from casual to Sunday best was on display. There was a worship team of three when I attended.
Main service hours are 8:00 am and another one at 10:45 am on Sundays. Don’t know about bible studies or any other Sunday programs. They lock the doors, not sure if it’s during prayer, so don’t necessarily leave if the doors are locked.
The sermon was pretty good, but was looking for something more in depth.
We were looking for a church in the area, but what turned me off was there was no greeter for a new visitor to help me understand the program or structure. I wasn’t given a program or handout. I had difficulty keeping up with the message he was preaching as I didn’t hear the scripture book and chapter/​verse. I gave it another try on a different month because I never go on just a one time fluke. Second time almost mirrored the first.
It’s probably a great church, but it wasn’t for me apparently. So I’m giving it an average rating.

The Church has a great congregation and the preaching is good. You should check it out if you are looking for a church.
