We went to this location for lunch and the hostess sat us pretty quickly. Unfortunately they sat us in an area where it was so packed that my pregnant wife couldn’t fit. We asked if we could sit on a table right next to us that had a little more breathing room but they told us no because we needed a party of 5. We had a party of 4 so I don’t think 1 would have too much of an impact and the waitress looked like it was the most outlandish request she’d ever heard. After being moved we ordered our food and my mother in law got a salad. The salad bar is pretty good with the exception that the dressing labels are either half gone or almost non existent. We brought it up to the server and they told us that well if you look good you can figure it out. My wife’s burger was kinda salty but the fries were good. Service was slow, we had to wave servers down for napkins, utensils, and even water. Overall I’m willing to give it one more go as I’ve heard better things about it from family members but our experience was underwhelming at best.

The food here is decent! I came here with some friends and family for breakfast. There isn’t too much ‘pizzaz’ about this place but you can come here for a good, reliable meal. I feel like Ruby Tuesday’s is one of those places where it’s as nice as you make it; it could be a destination for a quiet meal out to celebrate or it could be a casual, in and out type deal too. Anyways, I’m usually not a big fan of chain restaurants but today, our service was particularly great and I was satisfied with my meal. Food itself would earn itself a 3.0 but there was nothing wrong at all with our experience so I think that deserves an extra star. Good place to come if you’re staying at Ko’olina and refuse to remain enslaved to overpriced resort food!

I really like the salad bar at Ruby Tuesdays and if you’re like me, it’s pretty filling and I end up not having room for my entrée. During my last visit the waiter allowed me to get an appetizer as my entrée. The salad as a standalone option is $ 16 but just $ 6.99 if you add it on to an entrée. I opted for the spinach and artichoke dip with bottomless chips. Of course, I didn’t make it to more chips, but they were delicious. The chips were warm and just salty enough. Soft drinks are bottomless, but again beware of how filling that can be too. Service was good and they restocked the salad bar frequently. The tomatoes are in olive oil adding extra flavor. My favorite are their croutons though because they are crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside.

Burgers were great, service was not. I did not get my water refilled for 30 minutes until we waived down a server that wasn’t even ours. Just watched our server stay at the bar and have conversations without coming to check on us at all.

Although there is a Ruby Tuesday in my neighborhood, I always forget it’s a dining option. After my recent experience there, I will no longer forget. In fact, I intend on making regular visits. When I glanced at the breakfast menu I was intrigued by an original item. As a dining patron, I tend to look for new variations on familiar foods. One of which was the Bulgogi Loco Moco which was more like a Benedict with rice, instead of English Muffins. The combination of the red sauce marinade, poached Egg and the Hollandaise were definitely magical! I made sure not to waste any of that sauce. I failed to finish the rice on my plate since I ordered the Strawberry Waffles. I have a habit of ordering a sweet selection along with my savory selection. It’s a MUST for me when having breakfast! Although the Strawberries were not mixed into the Waffle batter, the fresh berries and whipped cream were sufficient. Whiled I dined I saw Furikake French Fries on the Happy Hour menu. I intend on ordering that the next time I’m there! These are definitely things that I did not expect to see on their menu. I encourage you to explore the menus of these familiar Restaurants. You may be pleasantly surprised like I continue to be!

I don’t come here too often but I love their menu and food choices! Tonight I treated my Mom and sister just for a late Mother’s day gift and dinner was perfect! Brooke was our server and she was amazing! Great service, constantly checked on our table, had great suggestions, and was just overall great with conversation! :))) thank you Brooke for the great experience!!! I ordered the shellfish trio(crab cake, skewered shrimp, lobster tails) with mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini on the side!!! Food tasted delish!!! Perfect, just wish the zucchini wasn’t so buttery. But still, Ruby Tuesday, thank you! ^ – ^ next time I’ll make sure to save room for that blondie brownie dessert,(to die for).

Came here for dinner with my husband after watching a movie at the new Kapolei Commons Regal movie theater. My husband knew off the bat he just wanted the Garden Bar salad buffet. I chose the Crab Cakes with the Garden Bar. The only things I really like from the Garden Bar is that cheesy, bacon-sprinkled broccoli salad and the pasta salad. I avoid the rest of the Garden Bar’s greens. The crab cakes I ordered was thankfully made with chunks of real crab meat. I’ve had crab cakes where the crab meat was shredded and mixed in the binder that tasted like it came from a store. Ruby Tuesday’s crab cakes are so legit that there’s even bit of crab shell that I fished out, but very minimally. Our server was really nice and he returned frequently to check up on us.

Tried to do a call-ahead at 6:30 on a Sunday night. Called several times but no one ever picked up. When we arrived we were told it was a 20 – 40 minute wait. When I asked about the phone, I was told it doesn’t work well. Really?! After we were seated, it took a long time for our drink orders and 20 minutes to get our drinks. No water as requested. I had to go acquire silverware for us; my wife had the salad bar. The restaurant was so cold several patrons were wearing jackets with hoods up. Our food was just so-so. At least the service was friendly, if not sporadic.

This was our third time and it was a surprise after we walked away the first two times not wanting to go back. Last night was the exact opposite of our previous attempts. We were promptly greeted and seated to friendly hostess, waitress was friendly and attentive arriving within a minute of our arrival, checked frequently if we needed refills on drinks. The food was hot and delicious, I had chicken, broccoli Alfredo pasta, sweet potato fries and other half had steak, mashed taters and zucchini, all of which were fresh and hot. I would definitely eat there again if the service and quality stay like this. Our first time there we wait almost ten minutes and no host or hostess was in site so we walked away. The second time was worse. One couple ahead of us and a hostess and four waitress standing at the entrance loudly talking about wishing everyone would leave cause they tired, it was two pm, and about how crowded it was, half of the seating was blocked but they had plenty wait staff standing around. I’m very pleased they turned things aound and now have another great dining option in the west side to choose from.

How should I start this? The rickety table at the bar area should have been an omen. My girl had ordered the stack with ham and I the Ruby big breakfast. Our server never came out with the biscuits. We had to beg for them, which were hard as rocks. When we received our food the meat was room temperature. We had asked them to heat it up. Ultimately my girl found two burnt slabs of pancakes(burnt side down to conceal them). Our server then disappeared and hasn’t returned to hook me up with coffee. The moral of the story is go to Denny’s right next door. We are locals and know now it’s better to wait in the long as lines at Denny’s than to risk food poisoning.

Happy hour jut got happier! It’s no lie, I love French fries with a deep, deep passion. Add gravy, cheese, chili, or others artery clogging toppings and I’m even more in love. At my recent visit to Ruby Tuesday’s for happy hour, I was surprised to see bulgogi fries on the menu. This nod to poutine with an Asian twist, was only $ 8! What a bargain!!! It was topped with Korean beef, parsley, and a creamy cheese sauce. For dipping, a cute side of Sriracha was included. Cue the heart eyes! There are about a dozen apps that are under $ 10 and beers are under $ 5. Come early for a great happy hour, or catch the tail end of the deals before your meal the next time you’re here. You won’t be sorry!

Ruby Tuesday is just for lunch, dinner and drinks… not! My wife and I received an RT gift card for Christmas and the card holder was advertising their breakfast. Since we were in the area, we decided to give them a «trial» run. The verdict…4 stars. will definitely consider RT in the future. The 4 stars for the service. The food was good but not great. I had the bulgogi Loco Moco(the bulgogi was too sweet… not like traditional Korean bulgogi) and my wife had the Kalua pork eggs Benedict. I ordered an order of extra crispy hash browns. The outside was extra crispy but the inside was soft(they should have cooked it in a thinner layer). Again, the food was good, just some technical flaws that keeps RT from my 5th star. See my pics to see our orders.

My boyfriend and I came here around 6:30pm. It was a Friday night and the parking lot was crowded but we managed to find a stall. The restaurant was just as crowded, however we were lucky enough to receive a table for two as soon as we checked in(I think it’s because all the parties before us were pretty big). Our waiter, Kurt, greeted us and was pretty friendly the whole night. He checked in on us occasionally and made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered the tempura green beans as an appetizer, recommended by Kurt(). It wasn’t too bad, typical fried food taste. The sauce it came with was good though. After the appetizer we waited a fair amount of time for dinner. I ordered the shellfish trio(lobster, crab, and shrimp) and it was very filling! My boyfriend got the ribs and chicken tenders. The ribs had a great BBQ taste and the meat fell right off the bones! Could care less for the chicken tenders though.

RT was a disappointment tonight. It’s a Saturday night, and this place is PACKED! I don’t think they do well when it’s packed. Seating: their seating is SOTIGHT that there’s hardly any room between tables, and is very difficult to walk between tables as well. This is especially difficult if you or others are making their way to the salad bar. 》》》 So we decided to sit outside, which was a little muggy, but was much roomier than sitting inside. Service: service was good tonight. Wait help was very attentive, and pleasantly accommodating, and although we sat outside, it didn’t affect service. Food: Hubby ordered the Cajun Jamalaya Pasta and said it was tasty, but temp was a little cool, as of it was sitting for a while. I ordered the Ravioli appetizer, and it tasted just like pizza pockets… nothing special. Salad Bar: this really fell short tonight. We waited at the line for a while because there were no plates at first. Many items were empty, and it didn’t seem like there was anyone tending to replenishing the bar. Both my husband and I thought there was not one tasty bite in our salad, and there was an overall«sour» taste, which I couldn’t place. Overall, we didn’t really enjoy our food and the crowded atmosphere. We appreciated the pleasant staff though, and they made our experience not so bad ;)

New Year’s Lunch! Being that this was a holiday, I knew it would be busy and the parking lot would be full. I always believe I will get parking. Just like that I drove in and in 1 single pass I parked the car not too far from the entrance making it easy for mom to walk. Upon entering we were graciously greeted. M said it’s for a party of 3. She was then advised it would be about 10−15min. Not bad for a busy day. I love the materials used that made up much of the décor, wood and stone, the natural stuff that makes me feel comfortable. I feel it is unpretentious. Taylor H. is our server. She comes shortly after we’re seated with menus and asks for our drinks. M took water while mom and I took COFFEE $ 2.99 bc it’s very cold. I’m not usually cold but in here I am. Taylor H. is pleasant providing fantastic customer service. At that point we knew we would be well taken care of. She came by a couple times but we just weren’t ready being our first time and all. When we finally ordered; M took the CHICKEN&MUSHROOMALFREDO $ 19.69 — Seasoned chicken tossed with tender linguini pasta, sautéed baby portabella mushrooms, green peas, and rich Parmesan cream sauce. Mom and I shared the TRIPLEPLAYMANGOSPECIAL $ 23.99 –Half-rack of our mango barbecue baby-back ribs, complemented with hand-breaded chicken tenders, crispy butterfly shrimp and seasoned fries. STRAWBERRYLEMONADE $ 3.99 Drink was okay. Nothing spectacular. It was good but, imho, think it could be priced down a bit. I had one, didn’t want to get 2nds even though I drank it quick. Mom also took a side of RICEPILAF $ 3.99 while M took the healthy route for all of us; CREATEYOUROWNSALADBAR $ 6.59 According to M, the salad bar was fresh with different kinds of dressing; thousand island, honey mustard, balsamic vinaigrette, ranch, blue cheese plus olive and balsamic vinegar. I love the peppers and balsamic vinegar. It is a standard salad bar with no cheeses or meats to choose from. M did enjoy the freshness and had 2 servings. I was happy both dishes were brought out at the same time on large plates. So glad mom and I are sharing. I thought it would be a small amount fries but the ribs laid on a bed of fries as big as the ribs themselves. I lifted one rib up to give to mom but the meat fell off. A good sign. I tasted the fries first. They were too salty but good fried right, a little crispy on the outside but tender on the inside maintaining the taste of the potato. The ribs were not only tender and soft but flavorful with the thick and sticky slathered sauce. This was quality ribs that had good taste and not the sauce covering up poor quality meat. The shrimp was delicious and there was actually a good size shrimp in there and not just lots of batter. The chicken tenders were well seasoned, easy to eat also with good flavor. M didn’t really enjoy the Alfredo saying it was too dry for her. I did sample 2 large fork spun samples finding myself liking it. I did not find it too dry but I would like it a little more on the wet side. However, with the sauce thick from the cheese did allow it to stick to the noodles better and a stronger cheese taste but not over powering. When the dish was empty, looking at the bottom of the large bowl there was not much sauce left. In fact there was nothing to wipe up with a slice of bread. Probably why no bread was served with the dish. The chicken was deliciously tender and tasteful. Much better than any chicken nugget for sure. lol All through this epicurean tour, Taylor H was checking up on us for refills and if everything was all right. I did ask for more coffee. Mom was reluctant bc she thought we would have to pay for it. I explain to her not so and she took a couple more cups after. Their dessert menu consisted of Toffee Cruch Blondie, Apple Tart, Mud Pie, New York Cheesecake and their new addition Chocolate Goblet Sundae. We were tempted to try something but decided not too after taking our own last bites keeping to our agreement when we initially sat down to take no leftovers home, everything had to be eaten no matter what. All in all it was a wonderful experience enriched by our pleasant server, Taylor H. We definitely could come back here again.

Came here for breakfast because Denny’s was super busy. Not too many people here for breakfast and we were able to get a seat as soon as we walked in. We were waiting for our server to help us and about 15 minutes passed. What’s funny is that every other family who got seated after us were assisted pretty quick. Another server had to check with us twice to see if we were helped. After then, our food came out pretty quick but then service got stale. My food was basic waffles and chicken that could simply be made at home. We had to keep asking for things such as ketchup, more coffee, and napkins. When we were finally done eating we had to ask our waitress for our bill twice and waited for our check for about another 15 minutes… I knew she wasn’t that busy because all the other tables that she had was also waiting and looking for her? Not too sure if she just lacked urgency or if she was having a bad morning. Will just eat dinner here instead of breakfast. A little on the pricier side for a little portion so I suggest they need to beef up their service.

Went here for football so I’ll give my review based on that. Kapolei Location: Went early around 900 am on a Sunday to watch football. Opens early so you can watch the games. Every game is being played and there is ample seating thoughout the bar area. There are also televisions in the corners around the entire restaurant for you to watch as well. FYI breakfast is served until 1100 am so plan accordingly if you prefer breakfast or lunch. Unlike some bars you can start drinking in the morning when you get here if that’s your thing. Had the Loco Moco — Wagyu. The demi glaze gravy was delicious. For lunch had the Ribeye. Had an issue with the medium rare but they took it back and made another one quickly as requested. Manager even came by to apologize and come back after we got the ribeye to check if everything was okay. Always good to have people who are attentive and mindful(especially as a former waiter). Great staff and manager who was on duty who take care of throughout the entire time. Recommend for those nice lazy mornings for sports or just for a casual meal out. Roughly $ 13 – 25 per person.

My BF and I came here once for an anniversary dinner and another for just a casual dinner. Both times delivered top notch service. For our anniversary dinner our server was incredible. He was outgoing and very attentive. I wanted the Cajun Jambalaya but wanted spaghetti squash instead of pasta and he made it happen. Our drinks were always full and our food was superb. For dessert we got the Ultimate Chocolate cake. Omg… Decadence! The next occasion was just a little date night for me and the BF. Again, the service was top notch. We ordered fish tacos and chicken wings for appetizers. For entrees I got the New Orleans Seafood and the BF got steak and popcorn shrimp. Yum!!! We were happy with all of it! I am in love with the Cajun Jambalaya! So Good! I crave for it now and then so we’ll be back again and again. So glad to have a Ruby Tuesday so close to home.

Had a very good experience here recently, stumps me wondering why the harsh reviews. Unfortunately ‘chain restaurants’ get a bad rep but alot of people don’t realize these restaurants are owned and managed by LOCAL people and management groups. So before canceling out a certain restaurant because of its ‘chain’ label, remember there are local people who own, manage and work there. Anyhow, on to my review. Upon arrival, the front doors to the restaurant opened assuming someone was leaving yet it was a very attentive host who saw us coming in and was ready to greet and seat us! We were greeted and seated in a matter of 1 minute, FIRST ever experience of sort I can recall. AMAZING. I was impressed with their happy hour prices every hour. Living in kapolei, being that it’s an up and coming ‘city’, it’s choices on good happy hours are few to none. $ 3.29 for a 14oz draft is totally a bargain to get me to come! We ordered an appetizer, entrée and dessert to share. I was impressed with the freshness of the chips and spinach artichoke dip we started off with. The freshness of the bread, crispness of the vegetables and bite of the crispy buffalo chicken burger we ordered with an onion ring up grade. The dessert brownie ala mode to finish the meal came out right outta the oven, paired well with the vanilla ice cream. Our server was very very attentive without being annoyingly overbearing. Waters were constantly topped off, napkins were plentiful and condiments came with the proper meal on time. Dishes were bussed leaving us to enjoy our food without dirty plates in the way. JOSE our server was the example of efficient top notch service! We will definitely be back with friends and family for the drink specials, great reasonably priced food and efficient courteous service! Thanks for being in the area and giving us west Oahu residents a place to kick back and unwind a bit at!
