this place is a joke. watered down liquor and nasty ass food. unprofessional waitresses, better off going to chili’s down the road.

Had a difficult time finding this place since the outside of the bar has posters as wallpaper plastered all over. It’s the perfect scheme, though, I’ve noticed. Once you step into the bar, all you see is. pretty much nothing and blackness until your eyes get adjusted to the surroundings. The bar is very dark and I don’t think there are any windows here. If there were any, the posters on the outside block out any glimmer of light whatsoever. You can easily lose track of time, especially if you’ve kicked back a few. and because you’ve lost all sense of time, you’ll probably stay even longer and become even more inebriated and spend even more money(similar to a shopping mall with no windows or clocks to remind you that you have to go home and cook rice) until you fall asleep in the darkness. Perfect setting for a nap though. We came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We were the only group there and were able to hog the jukebox and the attention of the waitresses. We ordered several beer towers and I ordered a plate of kalua pig nachos. Beer tasted like beer. The kalua pig nachos were too salty. Besides eating and drinking, we were also focused on watching The Merrie Monarch that was on TV. After a while, our attention was focused only on the 3 tables of that once popular fish hunting game called Ocean Star. In my opinion that was probably my most favorite aspect of the bar, but since Ocean Star is now illegal, I don’t know if I will find myself here again, unless I am here against my own volition.

We were the only group in this bar, it felt baron and lonely. Not much to say about this place except the following: HIGHLIGHTSOFTHISPLACE: –digital jukebox with great music –all the bar games you can think of are here –waitresses are great –good place for sport fans, lots of t. v’s playing whatever team it is that you cheer for –tons of space –title of the bar is hilarious LOWLIGHTSOFTHISPLACE: –there’s no windows where you can see outside so it makes you feel like you’re in a rape cave –title of the bar is hilarious I pray that Kapolei residents have better bars than this. Great place for alcoholics to run away from the world. FIN.

This place is a great spot to catch a drink on your way home to the Wesside. People are friendly. They have karaōke, Touchtunes, or great background music and sometimes some pretty good live bands. Place is clean and they have automatic flushing toilets, which, in my opinion, is a must for any bar lol. Lighting could be a bit more but once inside you get use to it. They have two pool tables, dart boards and old school video games. Happy Hour until 8p daily. Pitchers 10 bucks! Check it out!

I love a good bar. I prefer dance halls, but around here, finding a good beer special, music, Sports TV, and restrooms is golden. Would you believe that restrooms are a huge commodity in Hawaii? I have walked around for an hour trying to find a place before considering the next palm I came across. Damn, a restroom can make or break a place… Especially a bar. This place is not only fun, it has great specials, music, and clientele. Love to watch folks just have fun. And the karaōke keeps the mood light. But, the bathrooms here Rock. Seriously. They’re cleaner than the bar. And they smell good. Unbelievable. I don’t think my restroom is that clean at home. So, this is becoming my favorite spot for a quick beer. I like the feel and the wait staff keeps the mugs full. Good Times.

I live in Kapolei and hardly ever visit the night scene in the area… mainly because there is none. I noticed this bar recently opened a few months ago in the shopping center but I really never took the time to check it out. There isn’t a way to see what the bar looks like from the outside since its all blacked out. When I finally did go in though I was pleasantly surprised. It’s got four dart boards, two pool tables, and lots of televisions. I would compare to TJ’s in town but roomier. The fact that it’s in Kapolei though automatically gives it 3 stars though. An extra star is given the bartender was so nice. They also gave us two sets of darts plus a cup full of dart heads in case we broke any… No deposit necessary. I like the trust. If I ever get my friends to drive out from town to visit me, I’ll be sure to bring them here.

Reason I give a three is because the first time I went, it was good. Although the bartender could have been friendlier. I’m a bartender myself, and being open, talkative and friendly is the key to getting good business, ratings and customers that return. So I returned tonight, got there right before one am, on a Monday night, and the door was locked. So I started to walk home. Curious, I called, a lady answered, I asked If they were still open, she said they are doing last call now. Hmmm, she asked if ill be over for last call. I said. Well. I’m walking home already because I attempted to walk in thinking the place was open till 2am, or so they advertise. I told her no, because I just tried walking in but the door was locked. She said ohhh, but were doing last call now. Yeah no thanks lady. Don’t tell me you are doing last call if your door is locked already. I know how it is working late when there is no business, believe me. I bartended many times where I wanted to close early. But you don’t have to lie to kick it! Just tell me your closed if you are. Especially when I tried walking in only to find out your closed but only for you to tell me over the phone minutes later that your still open doing last call. Not cool. I always try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt! I’m a bartender myself. And bar tending is tons of fun! If you don’t like your job, then quit! Don’t be miserable and make our experience miserable as well! That just makes you look bad! And your bosses and owners of the business! Now I see what everyone is talking about on here! Not cool employees! Come on owners and management! Step up your game!

They only had one waitress, serving the roughly 30 people and 2 bartenders serving on average 2 guest. But the specials and prices were right on.

I was very disappointed in their service. Went in and sat at bar. Bartender didn’t acknowledge me or said hi or tried to serve me a beer. Nobody came by to apologize for the wait. Worst off it happen on a slow night which makes it more discouraging.

I get the negative reviews about this place but it offers exactly what it promises: drinks, pupus, music, pool and karaōke. I’d come back here for sure — it is a dive bar and its proximity to Waianae is telling but it’s a cool spot to hangout for the area.

This is the only bar I’ve ever been to in Kapolei… maybe it’s the only bar in Kapolei? Anyway, it’s your typical dive bar with cheap drinks, pool tables, darts, karaōke, and sometimes they have live music. My boyfriend came here one night and was surprised to find out that Nesian 9 was performing. It’s a pretty good dive bar, and I love coming here whenever I’m on that side of the island.

Not my style of bars, I guess. This is definitely a hole in the wall and would be considered a dive bar. It’s located in a mini mall in the corner and it’s probably the darkest bar I’ve ever been in. I got to go to this bar for island hustlaz. The show itself was awesome but the service wasn’t. For that event they only had one waitress The rest of the people had to go to the bar for their drinks. The waitress that was there wasn’t very good She forgot a bunch of our drinks and it took forever just to get an order in. The prices for the alcohol wasn’t too bad. This bar isn’t a bar I’d go willingly to. I think this type of bar might appeal to other people but not to me!

I am highly disappointed with this bar in Kapolei. I’ll start out by saying my first time I was here was for an event and maybe this is why things were off. Waitresses were terrible. First of all we were a big group — we took up 3 tables that we pushed together. Everyone at the bar was fine with the tables being pushed together. One waitress came up and started taking our order. She came to our table the front one first. My girlfriends at the next table tried to order but she interrupted saying only the front table was hers and someone else would have to get their order. Fine — I get that, way not to steal the other girls table. BUT then the other girl comes and tries to take all our orders — it was weird and really inconsistent… Plus, we all were ONE party… ANYWAYS, I decided to look past that. What I can’t look past is how long it took to get anything. The second waitress(the one tending to the back 2 tables) took forever to bring out drinks. After about 15 minutes she came back and informed them they had to pay first then they could get their drinks. What was even weirder about all of this is my table, the front one, ordered got our drinks(in about 10 mins) and then paid. We didn’t have to pay first. Why did they? Then food. My friends ordered food at each of our tables. Though I will use our table as an example. We had 2 dishes and it took over 45 minutes to even get our food on our table(This oddly enough we did have to pay before receiving though). The bar itself was bigger then I had thought. I had never been to T spot so I can’t compare. But to be honest — I’m not sure I’d come back. I think I’d rather go to Kapolei Chili’s and sit at their bar instead of getting tugged around and having to wait forever. To top it off — drinks were expensive for the type of place it was. I would love a nice trendy bar in Kapolei — this is not it.

I live in the Kapolei area and any bar close to me that’s relatively nice I’m going to automatically give 3 stars unless its a dump. I like how they rejuvenated the place because T-Spot Hideaway bar was super ghetto. I love the new flat screen tvs, seating set up, high bar stools with tables, additions of pool tables, lifted stage for live performances, and the general layout of the place. Definitely an upgrade! Whoever is their marketing person is doing their job because within a week of them of their grand opening at least 7 of my friends knew about the place and were raving about it. I will come again because its chill, close to home, and the vibe is how I like it POSITIVE. My cool and aunty and uncles drink there, so you know if they’re there it’s the SPOT. Live music some nights and karaōke for the singers. –Drink Specials –Pupus –Tons of seating –Darts(4boards) –Pool Tables(3tables) –Juke Box in a shape of an ipod –Karaōke –Lifted stage for Live Entertainment –ATM close by –Security –Air Conditioning –Free Parking –Mix crowd of locals/whoever –Chill –good waitresses –Clean bathrooms

My friends and I happened upon this dive in a strip mall on accident while waiting for some Korean BBQ a couple of doors down. We weren’t sure what to expect when we walked it and WHOA was it awesome! This place is dark and full of pool tables. The bar was empty when we walked in so we were served right away. We ordered 3 margaritas and were surprised at how strong they were — RIGHTON! They were also on Happy Hour so they were $ 5, another plus. Not sure how busy this place gets in the evening or on the weekends, but we visit Hawaii often(our friend lives up Makakilo) so we will no doubt be back the next time we are in the islands!

Last I checked this wasn’t the Kahala or a high-end Las Vegas night club… in fact, extremely far from it, yet the prices they are charging would make one think that it is. Also, they end the karaōke early. I DIDNOT like the fact that they did not tell us that they don’t take cash. Um, are the workers that dizzy. Upon taking a credit card from a customer to start a tab, that should be the first thing they tell the customer…“We can hold your card to start you a tab, but we don’t actually take card as payment, cash only.” Something along that line is not hard to say.

i’m giving them a 3, instead of a 2 b/c there is lots of potential here… if things are fixed: Pluses: + 10(maybe more) large flat screens playing sports, and other programs + 4 dart boards + 3 pool tables + karaōke + juke box + plenty plenty places to sit + this bar is pretty huge! + waitresses are nice, and so are bouncers/security + sodas are only $ 2 and come in a pint glass not a small cup like other places… + clean restrooms Negatives: — The food menu is small… And so are the portions :(BUT from what I heard, this is something that is getting better over time… It used to be even smaller! — Be advised the wait time for the food is insanely long for what you get. I ordered pork chops and french fries… The pork chops took 1 hour to come out, and were so small in portion I wanted to cry. The waitress then said, «they’re still working on the fries»… Um… WHAT? By the time the fries came out, it was well over an hour… This came in a large basket — my friend told me that it used to come on a small paper plate, so apparently this portion size got better. But the wait was really long considering it was only 2 items, and no one in there was ordering food… i’m not kidding. i looked around, and there was maybe only one other guy in the entire place that ordered food. most people were just drinking. so how did it taste? the fries were good, and i would get them again(if it didn’t take over an hour).
the pork chops i would skip… they’re pork cutlet, onions, and mushrooms in a shoyu sauce. the flavor was too salty, and presentation was not very good:
— also, while the waitresses are nice — they did not give me the needed info as a customer — 2 examples. waitress #1 that took my credit card to start a tab… she did not tell me that this bar cannot charge credit cards YET… so when it was time to close my tab, i thought i could run my card. only then did she tell me that the bar was temporarily cash only. i had to scrounge from my friends for the cash to pay the bill. what if my bill had been $ 200? at that hour, all the surrounding businesses were closed, so how was i supposed to find an ATM? good thing my bill was small, and my friends had cash…(also, i’m not the only one this happened to… check out this review too: ) another example is, waitress #2 — i drank my soda, and she came by and asked, «what was this?» i told her«coke» thinking that there might be free refills… nope. she brought another one, and said«$ 2 please»… «oh… uh… i have a tab at the bar». she did not ASK if i wanted another one… b/c the soda is $ 2, this was not a big deal, but still… overall, this is a nice bar, and i would come back to see how it progresses, BUT, there are some kinks that still need to be addressed by the owner of this business, however, being that it is fairly new — these kinks still have time to be worked out. i might have given this place a 4, or even a 5 star review, but these issues need to be addressed first… in addition… *CANWEPLEASEGETSOMEHONEST UnilocalERSTOREVIEWTHISPLACE?* I’ve read the other reviews here, and tips, and people(friends or workers of this bar) seem to be beefing about this place with others… first off = please learn how to use Unilocal properly… If you’re the owner of the business, please get an owner account. second = anyone creating accounts for good OR bad reviews, you both are going to get your reviews flagged bc this behavior goes against Unilocal’s policies… So its no use. If its a good bar, then they’ll get good reviews… but only if they’re honest UnilocalERS, not people who make accounts to review one place, good or bad. please read Unilocal’s content guidelines here:
the end points are — #1 — it doesn’t matter what bar was here before this one, what matters is what the current business is like NOW. #2 — i don’t care who owns this bar. what matters to me as a customer is: good service, decent prices, decent food and drink, and a fun atmosphere. all of which any good establishment should provide.
