The Cookie Corner

This place has horrible service. The manager I talked to was very reluctant to talk to me on the phone and gave me attitude. I was interested in doing a donation for my school and I was giving her the details for the donating itself and she rushed me off the phone and didn’t give me the time to explain to her the donation. She was very short with me, had a very rude tone, and didn’t give acceptable customer service. For someone who has never had any previous experience with the company this will be my first and last encounter with them. That is not how a manager should talk to potential customers. The manager didn’t tell me her name but I will be visiting the store to have a confrontation with her because her poor customer service will stop us from doing a donation with them.

Growing up in Hawaii, I always thought that Cookie Corner was a franchise. I believe I was mixing it up with another establishment because you can’t find these tiny crunchy cookie delights anywhere on the mainland. And unlike other cookie companies, Cookie Corner makes their cookies onsite! It smells so good from the outside and while you’re in the store waiting to order.
I refer to Cookie Corner as «red cup cookies» but no more. Cookie Corner now has this adorable Hawaii printed cups. Luckily, the taste is still the same after all these years. And honestly, you can never go wrong with freshly made, straight out of the oven cookies.
If this is your first time, I recommend trying the small variety cup at $ 4.95. But don’t stray too far away because if you like as much as many people do, you’re going to right back in for a couple of the large variety cups.

I’m not really what you’d call a sweet tooth person. If you know that about me, you might be surprised to hear about my absolute love for this place!
LOCATION: Left side of the Longs Drugs Kapolei in the longish open-​air shopping center that sits along the freeway with huge parking lot with McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Kentucky Fried Chicken. If you see Safeway, either you’ve gone a little too far or you’re almost there ;)

There’s good run of the mill cookies, and then there’s these: heavenly-​goodness, chock-​full-​of-​goodness kinds of cookies!
Perhaps it’s the half Chinese in me but these cookies are full of good, chunky stuff!
Biting into one is just like finding cookie gold! :D
My favs: Oatmeal, macadamia nut chocolate chip, and white chocolate chip! (They also have some amazing flavorful Lilikoi (mini) bars! Mmmmm.!) Cookies are made hot and fresh in-​house! If you’re lucky, you’ll snag a hot and maybe melty one!
PRICING: They actually charge by weight. May seem a little expensive but for the quality, taste, and value, these are so totally worth the delightful experience. They sure know how to maintain their high cookie quality bar. In my humblest opinion, this place sets the standard in quantity, quality, and value for price! :)

I was already on the Kapolei side so I thought to get a large tin of cookies here.
My joyous experience:
— If you already know what you want and need, call in your order. A good idea is to have them select the most popular cookie tastes. Of course I asked which ones are currently popular but that’s what I did to «choose» :)
— Ordering tip: I told the salesperson that I was looking for the large cookie tin and can she fill it with an assortment of the 3 each of the most popular ones. It was now 4 p.m. when I called her. She asked what time I’d be by. About 5:30 p.m., I replied.
— When I got there, the cookie tin was ready. There were other ppl in line so I just waited my turn and soon as I gave her my name, she brought out the tin.
— I paid for the tin.
— It was Christmastime. She asked whether I’d like a bow and or card. Both were complimentary. I asked if she could put a ribbon around it too. She put it together easily. I helped her hold the ribbon down so she could help me tie the bow.
— In a flash I was outta there.
— quick, painless, and easy!
— Customer service is efficient and helpful! I’d do it all over again in a flash!

Saw the reviews for this place and had to try it. When you walk into the cookie store you smell baked cookies — good marketing tactic! Overall, the cookies were just ok. The best one out of chocolate chip, chocolate chip oatmeal and walnut, and coconut was probably the coconut cookie. The cookies were soft and chewy but it wasn’t anything special.

Been a while since I had me some Cookie Corner cookies. Got me a couple chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookies. And of course a bottle of chocolate milk!
Also got chocolate chip w/​walnuts and coconut cookies for my gf.

Any size soda and 2 cookies for $ 4. Staff is always super nice. The smell is what brings you in from the parking lot. Place is addicting.

Cookies are good as always. But bad service. Why do the girl employees here just stare at you and don’t smile? We weren’t even greeted. Bad customer service. Try smiling. Why are you angry?

These cookies are so ono and, way to close to my house. You can’t go wrong with there chocolate chip but, my favorite is mnm and peanut butter. I like this location because it seems I always get them warm. Just in time for me to devour. Plus it’s nice to just pull up right to the store. Grab the cookies and leave. Real straight to the point. Forget going anywhere else for CoOkIeS. Also great service. Always happy employees.

Ahhh, I remember skipping school at sacred hearts to walk across the street to cookie corner and get the two cookies and Pepsi deal lol. Different location but eh, I think they are all the same.
Anyway I was with my daughter when she saw the picture of the cookies so of course I had to get her one. My favorites are the coconut and chocolate chip with nuts. Since my daughter doesn’t like nuts she just had the reg. Chocolate chip. Of course she loved it. Anyway most of the time the cookies taste fresh. I would give 5 stars but it isn’t consistent. Sometimes you may get a stale cookie, or maybe it’s a little doughy but overall still okay. I prefer these cookies over crunchy cookies.
Anyway get the deal, I’m not sure how much it is now but I think it’s still the same offer. 2 cookies and a Pepsi. Good for a little snack. Though may not be healthy lol.

The cookies here are delish! It’s freshly baked and isn’t dry and hard like some other cookie places.
The chocolates chip is my favorite. Its not too sweet and is soft/​chewy on the inside how I like it.
The oatmeal cookie is also very good.
It’s the best place to get cookies on the west side!

We visited this place on a whim after going to the park.
This place did nothing but impress.
It is really tiny, though and fit nestled between Long’s and Baskin Robins. I think it is a local place with fresh cookies. They sell by the weight and they also sell bags of cookies if you would prefer.
The cookies were moist and the rice crispy treats were amazing. It wasn’t very busy when we went in but it was still wonder. Great to stop by for a quick treat!

Cookie Corner has good cookies and usually good service. But this time around we went in around 12pm on a Saturday, May 30^th to get some cookies after my brothers graduation lunch. There was this local girl who looked decent, a bit ghetto, and seemed like she hated her job there.
We proceeded to order three separate orders on one bill. She could barely comprehend it as she gave me and my mom that confused look like. I mean it’s easy, take one order at a time bag it and ring it all up. She put my 5 cookies in a plastic bag untied and left open. The others were smashed into a brown paper bag, and the other order was put into a plastic bag in another plastic bag. I didn’t understand that.
When I asked if she could kindly put my 5 cookies in a paper bag she gave me a look as if I was inconveniencing her. I was polite by saying please and thank you. She just stood there like a light post. Oh and when we paid and was about to get our change back «which was correct» she stood there giving us a glaring look. No, thank you, not a word of appreciation. Nothing! She just wanted us out of the place.
This experience won’t stop me from going back to Cookie Corner, it’s just these kind of employees who provide this kind of service shouldn’t even hold a job at all. If you’re reading this. Please quit and let someone else take over your job.

Decided to do a cookie bar again for my son’s birthday party and instead of slaving in the kitchen I hit up The Cookie Corner and purchase a variety of mini cookies (the ones in the red cups) that you can buy by the pound. It is not cheap, but they are absolutely delicious!

How can a business with warm cookies that taste bomb get anything less than 5 stars? I walk in, pick two cookies, a bottle of milk, pay the cashier, and cookies are in my mouth within 4 minutes usually. The price is reasonable considering you didn’t have to mix or bake nothing and the price of milk in Hawaii is higher than the price of gas. Actually you’re getting a good deal. If you don’t like cookies stay away, I don’t mind I’ll pick up your slack and enjoy them myself. I just cant figure out how they make them so soft yet firm. And don’t be afraid and pick the specific cookie (ex: the second cookie from the bottom). There’s always a specific one calling you with the right ingredient ratio. You want extra chocolate chips then pick the choco filled one, you love nuts then get the chunky one with nuts exploding out the sides. Get that cookie that catches your eye, then bring me back some too :)

Nothing more than okay. You’re better off buying a package of Nestle Tollhouse and toss it in the oven yourself. Trust me you won’t be disappointed unless you burn them or undercook them.
Anyway back to discussing the Cookie Corner… Grossly overpriced for small but chubby bottom burnt cookies.
This is not Mrs Smith’s not even close.
We were really disappointed; we had heard rave reviews about their chocolate chip cookies. When we passed by the store the smell of heavenly baked goodies captured our attention. We couldn’t wait to fill our mouths with these warm gluten wrapped chocolates. :-’(
Cashier is a young lady from the mainland. She was telling us her whole life story without our asking. She really came across as a sweet hyper airhead – sorry no offense to anyone. The big disappointment is she said that the cookies had to be weighed by the pound. After asking for the price for a pound of cookies, I ordered a pound. Then she asks me how much is a pound??? I told her I don’t know, you have to put it on the scale and measure it. Then she asks me again how many cookies is a pound. Urgghhh I told her to just put it on the scale and it will tell you. Luckily we were very patient and helped her through this ordeal.
I brought some cookies home and my kids wouldn’t finish them! That’s not normal and tells me alot… I thought my taste buds were just off. But the kid’s verdict solidified my opinion of that experience.

Who doesn’t love a cookie? Especially if it’s from the Corner! That’s right… I’m a self professed cookie monster!
I guess what I love most about their cookies is that it comes in tiny bite size portions. Sometimes I don’t want a huge portion of sweetness… so their little small sized cookies fits the bill.
The location is perfectly placed… at a CORNER (cheesy laugh)!! Actually it’s right around the corner from my quickie, sushi place with makes it even more perfect!
I’m only rating this a 4 star because parking is a little unnerving here.

COOKIES & AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE
I have called this place last minute so many times to order an extra large cookie for multiple different occasions and despite my last minute-​ness they always are more than willing to help a sister out and do the order for me. And its always such a awesome job they deliver. The cookie comes out nice and chewy, the decorations with the icing is nice and its just so unique. The person I give it to is always so smitten with it. Its something different. I mean who wouldn’t love a huge gigantic serving of their favorite cookie?
Aside from that their cookies are always so yummy! Good stuff I tell you!

Cookie Monster ain’t got nothing on me when it comes to me and Cookie Corner Cookies. These cookies my friend is my krypotonite. They are unresistable! Before I met my «dessert addict» wide I could care less about sweets. But now sweets now complete almost all my meals.
My favorite is the chocolate chip cookies and I always get it as a combo with the milk. This Cookie Corner is located in between Longs and Baskin Robins. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The big cookies is great to give for special occasions.

I… freakin love this place. A lot of people I know like crunchy cookies, but I am the biggest fan of perfectly baked soft cookies with somewhat crispy edges. I’ve loved this place since I was a kid and it honestly hasn’t changed AT ALL since then. As far as variety, off the top of my head they have… Chocolate chip, Chocolate chip with walnuts, Snickerdoodle, Peanut Butter, Shortbread, Chocolate dipped shortbread, Oatmeal Raisin, M&M, Rice Krispie treats… they honestly have a bunch more. And they also have a number of fundraiser options which are all fantastic and you see them quite often. Their cups filled with tiny cookies are amazing as well.
My favorites are their Snickerdoodle and Peanut butter. Rich cinnamon flavor in a soft cookie without an overpowering sweetness to it, the same goes for the peanut buttery goodness of their peanut butter cookies. I honestly don’t know how else to describe their cookies, but if you go when they’re fresh and you like soft gooey cookies… you will love this place. Try all their flavors and I guarantee you’ll find at least one you’ll love. DO IT!

Smell that aroma? AaAAAaahhhh, it’s the smell of freshly baked cookies luring me in once again to Cookie Corner. It’s rarely a planned visit my nose and tummy has a mind of it’s own I tell you.
I usually get the special choose any 2 cookies and milk for only $ 3.69. I usually get the oatmeal raisin and the chocolate chip with macadamia nuts. The bigger cookies are soft, chewy, and moist. If I want crunchy bite size cookies, I order the red cup. It contains a different popular flavors of their bite size cookies.
The tropical fruit bars are so delicious. Someone had the fruit bars as a wedding favor and I asked everyone on my table (I knew them) if they were going to eat their favor. The bars are sweet and tangy. The top has fresh fruit filling and the bottom is a rich buttery shortbread. It comes in three different flavors. My mouth is watering as I type.
Cookie Corner not only sells cookies, they sell rice crispy, and brownies. For special events Cookie Corner sells huge cookies made into different shapes and your choice of flavor. I ordered a cookie for the homecoming of my husband when he came back for deployment. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie, shaped into a flag, and they wrote on top of it. It tasted great and looked exactly how I wanted it to. They have a booklet to show you all the different designs that they could make. You need to put in your order at least 24 hours in advance.
The service here is always great. Greeted with a smile and thanked for your business. They patiently wait as my son makes his indecisive choice of which cookie to try this time. Usually well stocked with my favorite cookies no matter what time it is.
