Dental Center of Texas

If I could give them negative stars I would. Every interaction that I’ve had with this office has been appalling, insulting and subpar to say the least.
First of all, my husband had a dental emergency on March 4 and according to their website, the office was open on the Wednesday that I called. Well, although the website says their office is open, they don’t have a doctor on staff on Wednesdays. We ended up scrambling to find another dentist who did an emergency root canal for him that day.
Stupid me, I called the next day (March 5) to schedule cleanings for my three daughters. They are out of school on April 3^rd and the office was scheduled to be open. They accepted the appointments for all three girls and never indicated that there was any issue.
Fast forward to today (April 1^st) and I get a phone call from Dental Center of Texas stating that they need to cancel the appointments for two of my daughters on Friday because their hygienist just informed them that due to her own child being out of school she (the hygienist) was not coming in on Friday. That’s right, they called me two days before the appointment to tell me that since one of their employees could not arrange child care, they had to cancel my appointment that I booked over three weeks earlier! To add insult to injury, they then informed me that they moved one of my daughter’s appointments to the 17^th of April because it is their policy that they do not see more than two members of the same family in one day!
I have never had an office 1) have inaccurate hours on their website, 2) not have an emergency dentist on-​call to deal with issues, 3) demonstrate that their employees do not take their jobs serious and 4) refuse to see all three of my children on the same day.
Long story short, I will be contacting my insurance provider ASAP to request that this office is no longer our family’s assigned provider and I will be filing a complaint with Delta Dental about the inconsiderate and unprofessional practices at the Dental Center of Texas.

this place is horrible! please, please do not go here! they need to be shut down. the owner keri is blaming the patient!
