Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Community

My company attends a Career Far that they sponsor twice a year. Its mostly word of mouth and hundreds of candidates attend. We have been coming for @ 3 years. During that time I have only missed one, usually I’m the company representative. It is attended by about 50 companies and more on the wait list, so if you dont attend there is always someone ready to take your place then you got the end of the line.
They provide a breakfast which consists of doughnuts or bagels with coffee and juice. Lunch is usually sandwiches and pasta with chips and soda.
It has been successful for us and it doesn’t cost the employers anything to attend and you have a chance to meet hundreds of potential employees. There is a a large variety of employers there: oil and gas, healthcare, retail just to name a few. There even was HPD officers once.
If you know of someone that is looking for employment it is also free for candidates, let them know.

Worst restaurant ever, first of all, their crackers are terribly dry and they make you literally stand in line for them. Then, you wait in another line for a small sip of what tastes like day old grape juice. There was no main course. I sat in a stiff wooden bench (come on people, you cant get some better cushions?) and was read to about some zombie magician. It was the worst pre-​dinner entertainment ever. It was free, however, which is why i’m giving this restaurant 2 stars. Would not recommend you eat here.

I have attended Mass here seven to eight times and I am very disappointed with this church. The pastor, Fr. Jack, has a very liberal and oftentimes simplistic outlook on his Catholic faith. His homilies are brief and worded using exceptionally broad language, in a way that deemphasizes and/​or omits key Catholic doctrinal truths. I would even venture to say that Fr. Jack refuses to preach on Catholic doctrine — on the very truths that separate us from the various other Christian sects. I believe his lax approach to Catholicism affects the discipline and demeanor of the parishioners. For example, the church as a whole, gives little reverence to the actual presence of Christ in the Eucharist. This is evident in the demeanor of the parishioners before Mass. Many are turned back in the pews holding on loud conversations. Many refuse to genuflect. The tabernacle is placed in the back of the church while the Choir has a more prominent location in the front. I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone to attend this parish. Drive the extra distance and go to St. John Vianney.

A large, Catholic church in Texas Suburbia… really need I say more?

I love Father Jack though. He makes mass bearable.
