Bright in a laptop with a broken hinge just trying to get data off of it. Turned out they were able to fix it at a very reasonable price.

Pretty good. Went here to get my laptop screen fixed. The only negative thing I have to say is that it took a lot longer then they had originally said but I understand because the first screen they ordered was the wrong one so only took a couple days longer because they had to order a new one. But over all they did a great job looks perfect and brand new. No problems with my laptop

My iPhone 5 screen was detaching and displaying on and off sporadically. The tech and front desk guy explained patiently and showed me the problem. I eventually would need a new battery and they will glue the screen back on. Unfortunately, that did not help, and I would’ve needed a new screen. Since the tech was unable to give me back the phone in the condition I gave it to him, as GREAT customer service, he charged me a cheaper price and replace the screen as well as I purchased the new battery, I was told. That made my day! Would I go back? I don’t see why not. With GREAT customer service like that, I surely will.

I don’t think I’ve ever left a review before but just wanted to say I cannot say enough about LCGs. I dropped my phone 3 times and they have fixed it and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy each and every time.

I would love to give negative stars but it’s not an option. They told me a part for my iPad would be in in 8 days. Day 8 I had to call them to find out the status. They tell me they didn’t realize it was an iPad mini 3^rd generation. Even though we had the conversation multiple times. And that they can’t get it. Why did they wait so long to tell me? The manager is 12 years old and has poor customer service. As I was talking to him, he ignored me and was talking to another employee about a football game. Really? Maybe that’s why they didn’t know what they were dealing with. Come on guys. This is your business you should know what you’re working with. Don’t go here for any reason.

I’d give them no stars if possible. Took an HP laptop in to have the fan replaced. I had to go back twice because they wrongly connected the hard drive, they did not reconnect other things like video/​microphone. After their «repair» there is a constant USB failure message even when I don’t have anything connected to any of the USB ports. They might be cheaper but not worth the headaches!!!
I will find and contact the owner — if that’s not possible I will complain to BBB, Attorney Genera’l Office, etc.

All I can say is these are kids trying to run a professional business. They have very little knowledge about customer service or business management. All the reviews except the top one is a good indication of what type of service you are going to get. Sorry kids you need some help!

Stay away!
I’ll try to make this brief. Call them to ask if they could work on my pc at my home since we use it every day for our business accounting. Was told no by a guy named Garrett. Then he said he would check and call me right back. Waited 2 hours, no call. I called him back. He said he still didn’t know because he couldn’t get in touch with the manager. Said he would call me before they closed at 6 for sure. No call. I called the next day at noon e=because, of course, they still had not called me back. Talk with a guy named Max. He asked me a couple of questions about the issue. He determined they could fix it ½ an hour for about $ 60 while we waited. Told him we would bring it the next day right when they opened. We did. They worked on it and then informed us that they had accidentally deleted a file it needed to turn on. They would have to reload windows but all of our stuff was safe. Irritating. So we left it. They said it would be ready in a little while. That was at 11. At 5 we still had not heard from them. Called them and were told they would have it ready right at 6 maybe, but first thing in the morning for sure. Called them at 12:30 (they open at 10), surprise! Not ready yet. We’ll have it done by 1 for sure. Just come and pick it up. I did. Was told it was all fixed. And Hey! No charge, because we are so nice. We fixed it, but because we inconvenienced you, it’s free! Aren’t we nice? Brought it home and hooked it up. All programs wiped out completely. Including a $ 2500 accounting software package. Can’t even open email to get software download so I can try and reinstall. All settings gone, all cookies, everything. I was mad. Called the store and spoke to George, the manager. He acted like to was no big deal. Well sure, of course you have to reset all that stuff. Like I’m an idiot for not know this and why was I so pissed about it. Long story short. They had me on the phone for 45 minutes while they tried to get my company information back. No help. It’s gone.
Like I said, stay away from these guys.

Do not go to this company for anything.
Laptop went to replace LDC screen. Everything worked fine. I was using the laptop VGA out to a monitor until Low Cost Geeks had the LCD Screen. They even ordered the wrong screen.
I bring the laptop in, two weeks later, after going in and calling several times, I am told, the «Your computer is fixed, the screen is replaced, but it will not boot». «You can pick it up at any time».
I am pissed. They failed to remove the battery and to discharge the laptop before they changed out the screen. They wrecked the hard dive. When I asked the guy how to remove the battery, he could not tell me. When I asked him how he discharged the laptop, he could not tell me.
So they said they would not charge me for the laptop, but they did. $ 180 I ended up replacing the hard drive and knew damn well I should have replaced the LCD screen myself.
Don’t go. They are far from being Geeks and Low Cost, not in the long run.

I Highly Recommend Low Cost Geeks. Not getting a good response from Apple, George fixed the un-​fixable on my Apple IPhone. So before you chuck your phone check Low Cost Geeks out first. Thank You Guys!

OMG, where to start…
Dropped off a Wii to be repaired and was told it would be ready in a week. The week came and went and was told they needed a few more days. Two weeks later I was told the part was in and they would install it that day and it would be ready tomorrow.
The next day I called to see if it was ready and was told it was not, I was also informed that they don’t repair them on site as I was originally lead to believe. According the the manager, he gives it to one of his buddy’s to fix as they don’t repair Wii’s at the store. Apparently his buddy had some issues and couldn’t bring it in that day. Talk about shady business practices. Not cool at all! If I had wanted some clown to fix it I would have used Craigslist and paid half the price.
If you ever have a problem here don’t expect the manager to call you back. Don’t even expect a call to let you know the repair has been completed. I had left two messages with two different employees and the manager still didn’t return my call.
The day it was finally ready, you guessed it I had to call to check, I asked to speak to the manager 3 times and kept getting put on hold. The employee I talked to didn’t want to transfer me. «why do you need to speak to him, the wii is fixed and ready to be picked up.» Guess the employee was doing me a favor as the manager couldn’t care less.
No I wouldn’t use them again, I wouldn’t even trust them with a Tandy TRS– 80, Atari 2600 or a Commodore 64 much less a current gaming platform.

I bought a Groupon for Low Cost Geeks to replace the screen (digitizer) on my stone-​aged iPhone 3GS and the repair went very smoothly.
Backstory: While my wife and I were in Paris, I took us 2 miles in the wrong direction looking for a restaurant. My wife began flailing her arms wildly and knocked the iPhone out of my hand which flew through the air in slow-​motion before crashing down on the unforgiving concrete of L’Avenue des Champs Elysées.
I took my phone to LCG without an appointment and despite the expected rush from a recent Groupon, the tech said it would only take a couple of hours. I was hesitant because the guy was very friendly and helpful and I prefer my geeks socially awkward. He ran a few diagnostics on the phone and that was it. Piece of cake.
I picked up the phone a few hours later and the entire transaction took under a minute. The tech this time was a little more stereotypical but he was also in the middle of helping another customer with PC wi-​fi issues.
It seems that LCG offers a good range of services. I asked if they could fix the red ring of death on my XBox 360 and they do that for about $ 70. Even if I don’t take in my XBox, I’ll keep them in mind for any mobile device disasters.
Now I just need to get used to the cold, unfeeling glass of my new digitizer and make sure I stand clear of my wife by a few feet before announcing my mistakes.
