Parkway ENT and Allergy

My daughter had her tonsils removed, permanent tubes in and a sinus repair done. Whole process went smooth and his advice of letting them eat what they want when they feel able to was great for my daughter. That night she ate Mac and cheese and instantly perked up and was fine from that first night on.

When a family member needs to go here, it is easy to get in the system, what is difficult is to get the audiologist who travels around from office-​to-​office to return your calls.

Parkway ENT is located in the Cinco Ranch are on the west side of Houston close to Highway 99. Parkway ENT is on the second floor of the Cinco Village shopping center. The shopping center is well maintained, and the actual business is new and clean. The inside has nice finishes, and I felt comfortable waiting. There was plenty of parking.
Making an appointment was easy, and the scheduler sent me a login ID and a password the day I called. At Parkway, they make you go online and fill out your insurance info and health history via the patient portal. At first, I was skeptical, but I really liked this and thought it was a cool alternative to the traditional method of sitting in a doctor’s lobby with a clipboard. I feel like it saved me time and cut down on the wait before I could see the doctor. I guess the downside of filling out my info online was that I couldn’t ask questions if I had any right then and there. Thankfully, I didn’t have any, and I was more concerned about getting a prescription so I could start to feel better!
The doctor I saw was Dr. Sycamore. He was respectful and didn’t seem to condescend to me like most doctors do as if they owned the world and can’t be bothered to speak to a patient for more than two minutes. The doctor also seemed to care if I actually got better. I didn’t have a problem with the office staff and nurses.
Both the doctor and nurse carried around a laptop instead of a clipboard to review my info. They were serious about being paperless! I hope that saves them on administrative costs, which in turn saves me money on my bill.

I must say my son went to this Dr. and had his tonsils and nose adenoids procedure done which went great. The Dr. and his office staff were very professional when we had any questions after the procedure. Overall Parkway ENT and Allergy is a great establishment.
