Specialties
Poke, which is Hawaiian style raw or cooked fish, local fresh fish, grilled fish to order. We are a low key seafood restaurant where its just all about the food and friends. Our other grilled items are Specials such as grilled lamb, duck, lobster mac n cheese, grilled ½ lb hamburger, prime rib and many more.
History
Established in 2000.
We started as a strictly dried fish producer in early 2000. The old ways of drying were being lost and we wanted to find a way to continue the practice combining three simple things, fresh local fish, salt, and our Hawaiian sun. After years of wanting to open a retail store the perfect location finally appeared and in 2012 the Fish Bowl opened for business. What started in a small 20×12 room with a display case and a rice pot was expanded only 3 months later to triple the size. Tables and chairs were added inside and out and a grill was put in so we could start grilling fresh fish burgers and other menu items. With the best customers anyone could ask for we are constantly encouraged to test new recipes. Taste testing with our customers is routine and favorites such as our Brazilian Fish Stew started out that way!
Meet the Business Owner
Bryan F.
Business Owner
Born and raised only a block away means most of the people who walk thru the door are called by name. Its a close knit community and Bryan wanted a place where people could come and feel like family. Speaking of family he has his Dad cooking on the grill along with his two daughters. The youngest of which is often creating amazing desserts to offer to the customers. Bryan has his wife help make poke and she often is responsible for cooking up the Thursday dinner specials. It really is all about the food and friends and family which means Bryan hopes people will come back whenever they can because they feel right at home too!
