Papa John’s Pizza

Pizza was good. However, it took more than an hour for delivery even though I stay hardly 1.5 miles from the store.

I’m not sure why it takes them 1hour and 30 min to almost 2 hours for pizza? What are they doing that it takes them so long? Also, they cheap out on the toppings so much you’re pretty much having baked bread?! The crust is very thick and if I ordered 5 toppings I would like to see more than 4 pieces of chicken on the ENTIRE pizza! Honestly horrible i wish I can change the delivery location to somewhere else but the app doesn’t allow it

I’m giving this Papa John’s a 1 star because I do not have the option to give this place 0 stars. The last time I ordered was during a weekday — my sister usually does the ordering — this time I placed the order but forgot what the name of the breadsticks with the garlic buttery sauce was called. When I called in the order, I nicely asked the server what the breadstick options were. He RUDELY responded by telling me that the menu was available online and that I should go check it out before calling. Mind you, this place only has 3 different breadstick options… it would not have taken him longer than 1 minute to tell me what my options were. I then told him that I currently did not have any access to a menu and demanded that he tell me what kind of breadsticks were available. Disgruntled, he went ahead and let me know that there was only 1 kind of breadsticks on the menu (which there isn’t… there’s at least 3). I continued to order a plain large pie and the «garlic buttery» breadsticks I knew was on the menu.
When I finally arrived at Papa John’s (20 minutes later), my order was still not ready. While I was waiting, they got a phone call from an angry customer who had received the wrong order (figures!). After lots of yelling over the phone with the customer, the Papa John’s employee finally hung up. I then took this opportunity to ask who had placed my order. Of course, no one wanted to admit who took my order down and blamed it on «a new driver who’s shift already ended» (yeah, right…). Anyway I tried to explain how rude the person who took my order down was and this guy (I believe the manager) did not let me finish and kept interrupting me (basically trying to get me to shut up). I let that go, and continued to wait for my pizza and breadsticks.
My food was finally ready! Or was it? My breadsticks came out… except they weren’t the ones with the garlic buttery sauce! He gave me just plain ones. I told him and he added the sauce… but where was my large pie?! That’s right people, he didn’t even write down my large plain pie order. So here I am waiting 20 extra mins. While I’m waiting this manager knows he messed up and is trying to tell jokes and even asked me if I knew anyone that would like to work there. Is that a joke?! (yes, that’s exactly what I said to him).
Finally my pizza was done! Thank god I checked the box to make sure it was the correct PLAIN pie because it wasn’t! It was packed with extra toppings (artichokes and other stuff. Yuck). At this point I just wanted to throw the pizza in his face, but unfortunately I had already paid for it. He apparently grabbed the wrong one and went back and grabbed mine. Finally, at the very end he offers me any 2 liter bottle of soda… I refused his offer, and told him that I will never come here again and am considering calling corporate on him. As I was walking out he yells out, sarcastically «Have a good night!» in which i replied by giving him the finger.
I actually liked papa john’s pizza but their service is awful, I spent an hour there just for a plain pie and breadsticks. I was not the only «screw-​up» they had that night. Stay far away from this place!!!

Worst pizza ever. Period!

I usually order from my area however I was in my girlfriend house. I purchase my items online and the wait was about 30 – 40 mintues which I understood. However this experience took 1hr 30 mintues for warm pizza. The manager on duty had horrible customer service. I would never order from this place again.
