The beans are absolutely incredible, you can’t go wrong with any of your choices. If you are a fan of dark coffee the demon roast is tops, and for medium roasts sinful delight is unique and delicious.. The in-house drip coffee is on the watery side but the flavor is there. It reminds me of a vintage 90s coffee shop, but in a good way!

Prime roast serves a good cup of coffee! I havent tried many other things on their menu, but the folks who work there are always very pleasant and helpful. The shop itself always has local art up, which is a huge plus. Its a great spot to grab some coffee and a good book and hunker down for an hour of some down time. The quality of the roast is the only reason why this shop has a 3 star review as they only offer bold dark roasts, which all taste pretty much the same to me.

Great coffee shop. Friendly service. Came up from Bridgewater, MA to look at a wedding venue, and popped in for a mochachino

The coffee is fresh, hot, and earthy. The atmosphere may not be for everyone but aid you want a fantastic cup of coffee you’ve got to try prime roast. If you catch them offering a spinach /feta pastry make sure you try! Soo savory. I used to live on Main Street a decade + ago and loved to smell of the roasting coffee beans wafting through the air every morning.

The atmosphere was just perfect for a long and relaxing evening with our books. The espresso is SO good. The chocolate covered caramels and chocolate covered espresso beans could have been more flavorful.

I LOVE this place! I frequent here almost every day, not only for the coffee(or occasional tea) but to see the staff! Everyone that works here is friendly! I cannot praise them or their customer service enough! My drink of choice is a caramel latte and it’s delicious!

I was up in the spring and needed a coffee. Found prime roast, got a cup. Loved it, got another, and bought a pound to take home. Loved it, now I am ordering from them regularly. It’s fantastic. They ship to CT. Oh, And the people are great!

Excellent coffee and cappuccino — great ginger molasses cookie, wonderful ambience. Food/treat selection was small but we went during late afternoon.

This location has the best iced latte’s out of every where that i have ever been. In the summer it is very easy for me to get one and down immediately. I have gotten gas a couple of times from getting coffee here or else i would give 5-stars. The people that work here are polite and decent people, i don’t feel rushed by them although I do feel rushed sometimes by the customers. The ordering process is a little different so it is hard for some of the newer people to figure it out and they can be slow and that can be frustrating.

I’m not a it coffee person, but I love coming here. We always grab a cup of coffee when we’re walking around downtown Keene. Just the aroma inside is worth the visit. All the coffee we’ve sampled have been good. There’s usually enough seating… front window seats being prime real estate. They also sell beans and ground coffee. Free wifi too!

Great coffee. Nice people. I especially like that beyond having the best coffee in town, they go out of their way to be kind and welcoming to locals with developmental and mental health issues. Prime Roast is quiet about it, but their kindness doesn’t go unnoticed.

The chemexes, moka pots, La Marzocco espresso machine, and various other coffee tools would lead you to believe the coffee here should be decent. Unfortunately that’s not the case. The baristas are pleasant and seemingly know what their doing, but the beans they use are wretched. All blends, no single origin. No roast dates on anything, though from the taste I can tell they’re pretty old. My espresso tasted like rubbing alcohol with a hint of French roast, stale coffee. They have the right setup and the knowledge. They’d make a much better cup of coffee if they found a better roaster. On the up side, my muffin was really good.

Here’s the reason I LOVE this place: my wife and I had our first date here. My job often brings me up to Keene, so whenever I’m there, I stop by to grab a cup, buy a bag of beans, and reminisce on that romantic moment. It’s a pretty cool shop in the center of Keene, NH. The location is prime(pun intended?) They’ve got plenty of coffee and espresso from which to choose. A staff that knows there stuff. They roast many beans in house. They have a huge selection of beans, I usually go for the darker roasts. The vibe is pretty cool. The décor includes local artists as well as old coffee makers throughout the decades. I believe they are opening another location, too. Don’t think you’ll find a better spot in Keene. And who knows… maybe you too will have a date their with your spouse.

This is my favorite local coffee shop! The atmosphere is cozy and the coffee is fresh and strong. I love sitting in the window seat with a good book or a good friend. I also love that you can smell their roasting coffee before you even walk in, like its welcoming you!

Love this place! They offer many of your typical coffee/espresso drinks and have a wide array of beans to choose from for purchase to enjoy at home. They also have a few desserts to choose from, typically some kind of cookies, cinnamon buns, and cheesecake. I mainly get their Fast Dark Banana, frozen, it is friggin AMAZING! On their menu it’s listed as the Fast White Banana but I like it better with milk chocolate than white chocolate. The staff is very friendly and even remember my drink order when I come in(I MAY have a slight problem). :-) Overall this is a great place to go grab a coffee, hang out with friends or just plain people watch!

Prime Roast is my favorite coffee shop in the Monadnock region. They boast a large selection of house-roasted coffees(everything from French Roast to Southern Pecan), which in addition to enjoying in the café, you can purchase to take home. If, however, you want something other than a cup of joe, you are in luck, because Prime Roast also serves all of your standard espresso drinks(latte, cappuccino, Americano). Moreover, you can customize your espresso beverage by adding one of the many Torani syrups that they have. Tidbits: –Try the Fast White Banana iced with milk, instead of white, chocolate syrup. It is my favorite drink at Prime Roast. –Grab one of the tables by the windows for some prime people watching.

Great coffee and excellent service. Coffee is definitely pricey but you have to expect that and embrace it if you want good coffee. If you want cheap coffee go to DD!
