Ramuntos Brick Oven Pizza

Pizza was pretty good. We got Sicilian which was super filling. The waitress was a bit clueless but she’s young and needs more experience. Overall would come back but not one of those top of the list «have to go» when I come back to Keene NH type places.

Talk about a gluten overload! Wow!!! This place is not only overrated it’s not very good! Take a pass here folks!

Terrible pizza! The cardboard box would taste better… Beer flat and service so –so! To be fair the atmosphere is okay! Hearing other customers complaining is never a good sign!!! Find another pizza place in Keene! Oh man the aftertaste is even worse!!!

When my wife and I came in we asked for outside table. We were told it was flooded despite it being a little brief drizzle short time before. So we were seated indoors which we didn’t really like as the interior looks rather gloomy to me. What really shocked me was the «open kitchen» by the back door. Kitchen looked extremely dirty, with some guys in black uniforms running around without hats preparing food. This is as unsanitary as it gets, damn! Since my wife is pregnant and she had to eat we decided to stay and I couldn’t be more sorry. The wings we had for an appetizer were drenched in a gallon of BBQ sauce that was so sweet I felt my blood sugar spike immediately. We also asked the chef to make pasta with garlic and oil as a sauce with a lot of mushrooms and very little sausage. What we got was extreme opposite and so bland I couldn’t just believe that’s possible to screw up simple dish like that.
At least the beer was cold… hence the 2 stars…

Excellent pizza. Very friendly service. And the wifi works as long as you sit close to the bar.

Ramuntos took over a great location and serves as the southern anchor on the beautiful Main St. of Keene NH. More importantly, this small chain has brought good pizza to the lower Connecticut River Valley. For too long we have been hostage to the so called «Greek Pizza». This is over-​leavoned and shortened to produce a thicker, oiler crust. Most of these places focus on price, thus sauces are canned, cheeses are industrial, and atmosphere is distressing. Not to say they are bad, just not real, thin crust pizza. (Like comparing Pringles to potato chips)
Ramuntos offers a nice pie. The crust is thin with a bit of chew. The outer crusted can even be a bit pillowy. The sauce is good but can be a bit variable. At times heavy on oregano. When they are on this is a terrific pie. The problem is that they are not always spot-​on. This is a very high volume place at times. Consequently we have had a few small disappointments. Nevertheless, still a pretty good pie. The toppings are very good. House made meatballs, good sausage and nice fresh veggies. The eggplant appetizer is very good and could be a light meal. The calzones are a great option if you wish to split a meal.
The atmosphere is nice. This location was originally the much beloved Peter Christian’s Tavern. It still carries an old pub feeling. Although this is a college town, they seem to hold on to a good core of servers. We have always been served professionally. It is a great place for a pizza and beer. Afterwards stroll down Main St. to the square.

When we go out for pizza Ramuntos is it… especially on ½ price mondays. Nice to have the convenience of table service and value of pizza.
Love the NY style and also the Sicilian. It can be the best in town when cooked properly. Only problem is that I’ve experienced undercooked pizzas a number of times… sadly. but you can do something about it if you are not already famished.
So when R is at their best the crust is crisp on the bottom and just the right chewy. The sausage is shredded and excellent. The sicillian gets a great caramelized texture and taste on the bottom.
Last but not least we’ve always had pretty good service and now its only better with Tommy running the front of the house.

We make Monday nights our pizza night while we were staying in Harrisville. The pizza is great and the 18″ pizzas are half price on Monday! (after 6pm)
Now that we’re in Canterbury, we still have to pick up our mail in Harrisville, so we do that on Mondays. The service is always great, and they go out of their way to make sure your dinner is enjoyable. Even if that means moving you to a quieter spot when a noisy table sits down next to you.
The pizza is great. New York style. The toppings are plentiful.
We’ll be back next summer!

We moved to New Hampshire last year and have not been able to find a good pizza place. This place was delicious! A little loud with all the collage kids but well worth it!

Came here craving for pizza. Pizza was good we got the 18′‘pie and it was too big for two of us so we took half of it to go. Wait stuff was very welcoming.

My partner and I usually eat this location when we’re in town, twice a month… maybe. But we love it. The service and food is always excellent, and the atmosphere is great. I love the Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo.

We visited last night (2÷26÷15) and ordered the Garlic Knot Pizza. It arrived in short order and was excellent. The waitress and manager were attentive without being intrusive. I will definitely be returning on future visits.

The pizza was great (even though it was ready by the slice), meatball sub and steak and cheese sub were very good! The service was good and the atmosphere exactly what we expected for a pizza pub.
Would come back if I’m ever in the Keene area again.

My favorite pizza in Keene. Great promos, and lots of great food and drink options.

A nice locations. Nice atmosphere inside and friendly people but I hate the flannel shirts everyone wears not sure what the deal is with that. The pizza is probably the closest thing to New York style in the area with the exception of possibly Athens. Not sure when they opened in town but it’s hard for me to believe another pizza place is warranted it town still I enjoyed their location and hope they do well.

Best pizza in Keene. We go here almost weekly — usually sit at the bar where we’ve never had problems with the service. The sweet potato fries are to die for!!! The spinach artichoke dip is amazing as well. Our favorite pizza there is the BBQ chicken one. Least favorite is the alfrado pizza with ricotta, it has so much cheese it gets soggy. The garlic knot crust option is totally worth it! Their salads and pasta are also very good. They have one of the better Caesar salads in the area. If you’re around on Tuesdays, the place will be packed for trivia night. Very reasonable prices considering their use of fresh ingredients.

So far the best pizza I’ve had in Keene, and was super impressed when the bartender remembered me after only being there once before, a month plus prior to my second and third visits.
Their gluten free crust is decent, their regular pizzas and appetizers are great.
Oh, and Tuesday trivia night is awesome! :)

Errr wasted all those carbs on some crapy pizza.
Ordered pizza with sausage, garlic, carmalized onions, and ricotta. Dough was spongy and soft. Not chewy with a crisp like it should be. Sauce way over cooked. Tomato sauce very condensed and way too sweet because of it. The whole thing needed salt. I ordered a salad wanted to add salt to the pizza but no salt or pepper came with it. My salad dressing didn’t come either. So I was left with a bunch of vegetables and a sweet soft pizza. $ 26 bucks wasted.

Great pizza! On the pricey side for Keene, but I think it’s worth it. Slightly thicker than New York style, but not really greek or Mass style pizza either… kind of a hybrid. Good ingredients, (although it’s a little disappointing to see how little local produce they have in this farm-​friendly city). GREAT draft beers, and fantastic service, every time. Trivia on Tuesdays is packed — get there early for a good table but there’s always room somewhere.

I know everyone’s entitled to an opinion, and I most certainly respect that.
However, while I certainly agree with those who pointed out that the cost of the pizzas here were «expensive» (if not actually «overpriced»), I just can’t seem to get what it was about the taste of the pizzas that we had that had some folks giving what can only be considered to be «gushing reviews.»
We (four adults, one kid) had two pizzas, and one was blander than the other. So bland, in fact, that the «cheese only» one seemed to have more pizazz to it than did the one with three additional toppings.
For a place that specializes in pizzas (and charges the top buck prices that they do), they should be able to do better. Much better, in fact.
Check around. Don’t risk being disappointed by the feeling that, for starters, the pizza really wasn’t that tasty to begin with and then, added to that, the with the feeling that you just overpaid (by a lot) for a product that just wasn’t very good at all!
