Rick’s is it anything too special, just your typical artificially flavored ice cream place. Not sure if the prices are fair, but I haven’t stopped going back, I’m a little obsessed with the blueberry soft serve… I think that’s a good sign, I would say you’d have to try it for yourself. Have yet to try the hard ice cream or shakes. Fast & friendly service and not a long wait time at all. I am giving them more chances!

Not super impressed. Ice cream was not very good. Either it was old or had melted and refroze. Won’t go back if you want my opinion.

Best soft serve in Keene and even many other areas I’ve been to. Recommended. A downside is there is no outdoor area to sit and eat your ice cream.

I have been coming to Keene for about a year or so now, but only just found this gem. Now, I can’t come to Keene without getting my fix of this place. Their flavors are unique, but I have only ever tried 2, which were delicious. I can’t really comment on the cost, as other reviewers, because I am used to Cold Stone prices, which are exorbitant. So, compared to Cold Stone, this place is no more expensive than any other ice cream joint.

I’ve only heard great things about this place so I had to try it out myself. Come to realize that it is pretty overrated. Every size cup is ridiculously overscooped, making it more expensive than it should be for mediocre artificially flavored ice cream.

The icecream is good, but very expensive! My fiancé and I went there… I got a medium size sundae with the normal toppings and he got a medium size bowl of icecream with only whipcream and the bill was over $ 10.00!!! A little too expensive for my taste.

Good Shake options!
Some good options for lactose intolerant folks like me.
My boyfriend described his shake as «The best shake he has ever had»
and being that I’ve worked in a few different ice cream stores for over 3 years now, he’s had a lot of shakes, so that one must have been pretty good

I love Rick’s. They have delicious ice cream (especially the raspberry fudge chunk) and a wide variety of offerings. They are also open year round, which is nice. The staff is friendly and the prices aren’t too bad either!

AKA Cool Scoops, this place has quite the assortment of icecream, however they’re lacking on Fro-​yo varieties. (two choices)
It was good to see that Rick himself is still running this place, and he seems to work every shift himself. This guy owns the place, so he keeps the floor clean, the serivce snappy, and the smiles plentiful. I’ll come back to this place every time i’m in Keene, however I hope he starts making fro-​yo more of a priorty. I had black raspberry chip and it was SOOOOO gooood, so why not match that quality with some quantity for crying out loud?
They also have a lot of outdoor seating and it’s walking distance from Keene’s popular, and adorable Main St.
