AKS is a consulting engineering firm that provides civil engineering, land surveying, land use planning, forest engineering, landscape architecture, 3D laser scanning, and certified arborist services. With offices focused around the Portland-​Vancouver metropolitan area and Willamette Valley, AKS provides services in Oregon and Washington and 10 other states. Consulting services are provided on subdivisions, commercial site developments, industrial, education, transportation developments, road designs, stormwater system designs, sanitary sewer system designs, water system designs, timber valuations, logging unit layouts, and tree plans.

History

Established in 2011.

Initial work for AKS focused on forestry and subdivisions primarily. During the boom in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s, AKS quickly gained a reputation for getting projects done quickly and with great attention to detail. Since then, AKS has begun working with municipalities in the public sector while maintaining private contracts. Currently, the AKS Group has offices located in Tualatin and Salem-​Kaizer, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington.
