Act One Dance Studio offers classes for the recreational dancers, competitive dancers and for those dancers who wish to have a more intensive study of dance without the competitive influence.

We believe your dancer can enjoy his or her level of dance study within our friendly, family oriented studio. Act One Dance Studio is proud of our reputation for building strong dancers. We offer an education that includes discipline and respect for self and others.

Offering programs and classes for all ages, we perform everything from pointe and ballet, to hip hop, clogging, jazz, and tap. Our dancers ages five and older are invited to inquire about competition teams. We also host multiple summer programs that are either the perfect introduction to the world of dance, or a great chance to perfect your existing skills.

History

Act One Dance Studio has been teaching students since 1989.

Meet the Business Owner

Janet S.

Business Owner

Janet has worked as the owner and director of Act One Dance Studio for the past 26 years.

Janet has studied dance for 47 years. She has been able to share her training and love of the art of dance for the past 30 years at dance schools in Oklahoma, Texas and finally in her own studio at Act One.

She has tested and passed three levels of Cecchetti Ballet training. Janet has been tested and gained certification to teach Ballet, Tap, Jazz and through Dance Masters of America.

Today, Janet’s passion for dance is felt in her work as choreographer and instructor and director of Act One Dance Studio.
