Sky Creek Grill

Went for breakfast. My husband had scrambled eggs with potatoes, bacon and toast — which was okay. I ordered pancakes & sausage. I received 1 thin pancake and two sausage patties one of which was burnt. The pancake (more like a crêpe) was inedible & I sent it back. Asked for toast and got 2 pieces of bread that they toasted on griddle. Overall, the food was disappointing. I can’t blame the service– she was kind enough not to charge us for the pancake but doubt if we will return.

I’m giving it 4 to offset the lady below me who seemingly loved it and gave 3. Not always consistent in service or food quality but a cool alternative to the Keller chains.

7 others and I recently went to the Sky Creek Grill to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday. When we arrived I told them I made a reservation for 8 for the private room. The waiter, Tony, told me he doesn’t have a reservation and that the private room is for 10 – 16 people only. He wanted me to tell him who I spoke with to prove I made a reservation, I didn’t know I had to remember the persons name when making a reservation. Since the entire place was empty I didn’t mind missing out on a private room. So we all stood around while we waited for our waiter to seat us or something. I noticed it was taking some time and I asked our waiter, who was watching tv at the time and throughout the majority of the night, «so how much longer do you think it will be until we can be seated?» He then told me «you can sit yourselves anywhere». This would have been useful information 5 minutes ago. So we seated ourselves and we had to push together 2 tables for ourselves. Later I then had to ask for menus because we didn’t receive any for a while. All in all the service was terrible. The atmosphere was nothing like the pictures show. Seems like a nice sports bar to attend for a game but not a fancy place like it appears on the pictures and website. The food on the other hand was pretty good, it was the only thing saving this review from just a one star. I will never go back to Sky Creek Grill, the experience was absolutely embarrassing.

First time here and a deserted Monday night. Service was good. Hubbies steak was very good. My chipotle chicken sandwich was «just» a chicken sandwich nothing special. We will come back and try other dishes! Ambiance and steak yummy!

This is where the hotdog cook comes to work after the golfers leave. The so-​so food is better than the service.
