Summit Mediation Services was born out of our marriage and family counseling practice. Realizing that some couples are going to divorce, no matter what, we started Summit Mediation to help at least avoid the acrimony and high cost of traditional divorce.

Business Owner

Dr. Bernis Riley is a licensed professional counselor who has been trained and certified in divorce mediation. As a professional counselor, Dr. Riley has helped hundreds of clients work through difficult issues and reach resolution. She brings the unique skills of counseling to the divorce mediation process. Using empathy, compassion, and wisdom, Dr. Riley guides you through the mediation process to reach a fair agreement. This is done in such a way that leaves all parties feeling heard and understood rather than hurt, angry, and frustrated.
