I eat Mexican/Tex-Mex 2 – 3 times a week. This is the worst I’ve had in a while. The salsa is warm tomato juice and the chiles rellenos were inedible.

Best Mexican I’ve had in the last three years of living here. It’s small, family run, affordable, friendly, and the food was amazing. Will make this a regular place.

The food is really good. The refried beans are absolutely amazing! Be sure to get them with your meal! Last time I had the enchiladas. They were good. I love the goat cheese on top. This time I’m getting the flataus that my mother had last time. Everything seems really fresh. Made to order. Plus I think this is the best Mexican food in the area. The only thing I’m not a hudge fan of is the salas. It’s more of a warm chili. I just order guacamole and am very happy with the generous portion that is provided!

Went back today to have lunch. I ordered two«baleadas».(Honduran breakfast tacos in flour tortillas) One huge let down… The flour tortillas were pre-made and out a bag. By this one shortcut, this place just lost all authenticity and I doubt that I’ll be back. Especially with other places near by that make their tortillas. Very disappointed.

Imagine walking into your sworn enemy’s home then proceeding to plop down at their table and then forcing them to cook for you. Well, that’s pretty much how it feels like when you eat here. No, they weren’t even close to closing when I walked in.

So I was in the mood for some Tacos and not Taco bell but real Mexican Tacos. So I came here and got friendly service, my order was to go so my wait wasn’t long either. Restaurant is TV friendly, Menu shows you what you’ll be eating and how it looks exactly which I think is a good idea especially when their are so many Mexican restaurants out there. That made it very unique to me. Food overall was great, I love Tacos de Lengua or Tongue Tacos and they packed then nicely for the $. I’ll definitely go back when I get urge for Tacos or Mexican in general!

I am an Italian southern girl who grew up on Italian creole food, thus, finding great Spanish food has been hard for me. This restaurant has the best authentic Mexican/Spanish food in the greater New Orleans area. The food is cooked fresh in an open kitchen that smells so good it will have your stomach growling. The menu used to be written in Spanish however, they switched to pictures and an English menu which has only allowed me to explore Spanish cuisine further. My husband and I are addicted to the horchata drinks. He loves the fajitas, I love their enchiladas. I chose a red sauce over my enchiladas instead of green which the hostess explained the green sauce was hotter but I found the red sauce to be spicy to perfection. We placed our order to go because we love to eat at home, however they have a huge dining area and flat screen t.v. with soccer playing last time we went. If your looking for real, authentic Mexican/Spanish cuisine then I recommend this restaurant.

Nothing says class like a sign by the door warning that anyone doing drugs on the premises will be reported to the police. The chili rellenos were very large & well filled, but had no sauce and the ground beef in them was very bland to my tastes. To the point that a spice sensitive friend of mine could have eaten them.

Im from Metairie, but I live in town south of Guadalajara, Mex. I’ve been searching for a Mexican restaurant that has the taste and feel of where I live at in Mex… And now I can say that I found that place… The tortillas are real and so are the people… And at a great price… Si quieres comer comida de Jalisco ven a este lugar
