Don’t get me wrong… PJ’s cold brewed coffee is THEBEST. Just don’t get anything at this location. My wife ordered a White Mocha, which is simply a mocha, but with white chocolate. The«Barista» make her a white hot chocolate, no espresso at all. When I brought up that the drink was made incorrectly, she dumped out half of the hot chocolate and added some brewed coffee, not espresso. Further complaints were met with an equally defensive attitude. Wait until you get into NOLA for a PJ’s. Pass the Airport Location on your way out.

No one to blame but myself. Unilocal said it was bad and yet I was desperate for caffeine. Honestly, this might have been the worst espresso I have ever digested. Threw the last third out after choking the first bit down. $ 5 for three shots of espresso and a little hot water is a bit ridiculous. The only cream or milk to be found was the small half and half cups which smelled as though they were years old. With that being said, unlike the other reviews my experience with the worker was ok. She wasn’t rude, just quiet. Save your money or prepare to plug your nose and choke the drink down.

This seemed to be the only place to get a cup of coffee and I was hesitant to try it because of all the horrible Unilocal reviews. 45 minutes later, I was still jones’ing for coffee so I decided to try it. It was not bad at all. Their plain black coffee was bold and strong, even a little stronger than I prefer but strong enough for a coffee snob. I didn’t order an espresso drink or any food. The food looked really fresh and the staff was friendly. Maybe the salads and sandwiches were flavorless because they weren’t drowning in dressing or condiments? They had a small selection of southern hot foods which also looked all right.

«Our expresso machine is down right now…» What?! Those are not words I want to hear! How could this be? I’m dumbfounded. There seems to be no where else in terminal C for an expresso!!!

Avoid like the plague. Unfriendly service. Lousy food. And the prices? One meal shouldn’t pay for the ENTIRE Katrina rebuild. I would give zero stars if it was an option.

I was there yesterday & ordered a mocha velvet ice. I was going to order a scone, but when I looked closer at the items in the pastry case, I saw there were little flies/gnats inside, and yes, on the food! Gross.

Got breakfast before flight Saturday early morning. Somehow my latte became a latte together with a regular coffee and had paid for both. Served by a barely courteous barista. The coffee was not good. The yogourt/parfait was ok. Rude awakening after several great days in New Orleans.

Before I few out, all I wanted was my PJ’s coffee. I’ve been drinking PJ’s coffee for YEARS now, I’ve been to MANYPJ’s coffee shops, from MS, to multiple locations in Louisiana. NEVER have I been serviced like this before at a PJ’s location. At this location I had to wait in a separate line other than the actual PJ’s line, because they didn’t have a barista. They only had two workers, with the shop that they share PJ’s with. So, I had to wait in the line for the food at the shop that they shared with, even though I wasn’t eating their food. While waiting in line, another lady was finally at the register to order a Velvet Ice, which she was told they couldn’t make because they didn’t have the«stuff» to make it, they said they only had the cold brew and the«regular» coffee, so the lady just ordered an ice coffee and moved on. When I FINALLY got to the register, I asked for a mocha latte, their response, «we don’t do latte’s, we only have the iced coffee, or regular coffee». Me: «So, you have the machine with the steamer for the milk, and you have milk, and I see you all have syrups. You don’t make latte’s? Them: «No». Me: «So, you also have a blender, and you also can’t make a velvet ice because you don’t have the««stuff»» to make them?». Them: «Yeah, only iced coffee or regular coffee». Needless to say I was NOT a happy camper. I feel really bad for PJ’s for having these lazy people behind the counter, because it really gives off a bad name to my favorite coffee business. Whoever is running that PJ’s needs to be fired. The only reason why I gave it 2 stars is because I love the PJ’s coffee brand. Who even knows if that coffee was even PJ’s brand.

Barista was helpful. No real half and half milk for my coffee. They only served the shelf stable cups of half and half. Now my coffee tastes like it came from a gas station or the sad coffee you get in a sad hotel lobby. I should have returned my coffee. Outside of the half and half, the cold brew was disappointing.

If there was a NO star option that’s what they would get. I had the veggie wrap which was tasteless. The food sits in the display case all day so the spinach was wilted and the ends of the tortilla were hard. More importantly ALL of the ladies working there were incredibly rude. I don’t know who would ever employ them. They ignored customers as they walked up, then they wouldn’t make eye contact, then they acted put out when folks wanted to order. They were curt, had an attitude and just the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Shame on the owner/management for not properly training and addressing this obvious behavior.

I’m sitting here feeling so nasty that I ate the veggie sandwich they had. I guess since it’s at a stand right near the gates in the airport so I shouldn’t have expected much. But after a few bites we threw away two veggie sandwiches and a ham and cheese sandwich. I added Fritos to the sandwich and that helped me get a few bites down. My sister-in-law threw away her coffee after a couple of sips. And I assure you that on the way out of New Orleans we all could’ve used some coffee… even mediocre coffee. The lady at the counter was nice, but these are premium airport prices for the only bad food I had in New Orleans on a week in town.

I’ve had some delicious PJ’s coffee but this is terrible! One unhappy girl behind the counter who has zero idea how to make a latte. The milk was scalded. I’m guessing the grind was off on the beans too since it tasted burnt. Not good! Stay away. I would think PJ’s would prefer not to have their reputation hurt this way. If I’d never had a PJ’s coffee before, I would stay clear of all of their stores.

Just stopped in here at P.J.‘s before my morning flight. As I was approaching the counter I saw a cockroach crawl across the muffin plates. The people in line ahead of me saw it too and we told the cashier. She(Thelma) acted like she was bothered and shifted slowly to the muffins then hollered at me, «Next Line!». What? I had already waited in line! So, the other people in line behind me and I moved to the next line. I watched Thelma remove just one plate of muffins, not all. Not sure why the entire cabinet would not have been cleared. I guess she thought it wasn’t a crawling cockroach. By the time I reached the front of the other line, Thelma shouts out, «I can help the next in line!». What was happening?! I just ordered a coffee and ran! I told the people behind me not to order food. The cabinet remains uncleared and uncleaned. Looking for attitude and cockroaches?! Eat here!

I doubt they read this; they’re in a captive position at MSY/New Orleans Int’l Airport. Weak offerings, pour your own coffee, half and half or skim(skim is in a thermos; use multiple plastic containers for half-and-half). Products like sandwiches etc, don’t have nutrition information or even what the ingredients are. Who knows what’s inside that package? Be brave? C’mon, folks, this is 2014 and we state ingredients because consumers need the health information. Throw these bums out, MSY. Their personnel are friendly enough, but this isn’t 1955 any more.

The good: If you are looking for something lite to eat, they do carry moderately priced sandwiches. Nothing fancy or memorable but if you were running late and couldn’t make your own, voila PJ’s to the rescue. Also it is probably the cheapest place to get coffee. The near by Hudson News charged 4.10 for their bottled coffee. The bad: The coffee was the worst part of my PJ’s experience. The place looked sad and service was blah.

Airport food(not to good) if you like grease and don’t care about how healthy you are its Good. If grease and clogged arteries are not your thing then steer clear of this place. The airport is very limited to choices.

Expensive and bad. For instance, I thought I was ordering a mocha latte when I said, «mocha,» but what I got was chocolate syrup poured into a drip coffee, and it cost four dollars. The young lady behind the counter was quite pleasant, though.

Get in what I thought was coffee line. Get yelled at to get in food line(behind 10 other people). Wait in food line. Get to front and told to get in coffee line. Again behind same 10 people from food line who are now paying. Order coffee. Tasted about like what I would expect from a gas station. Whole miserable experience took 20 min. #nolaairport #stickwithstarbucks

Breakfast burrito with cheese and eggs. EXCELLENT and friendly service, even at the complete crack of dawn. Asked all my annoying California questions about ingredients. Patient with my requests(such as please heat up the tortilla more so the cheese is nice and melty). Eggs sitting out and limited health food although could be way way worse. Probably the best option for an early morning airport breakfast although that’s not really saying too much. Good selection of fresh fruit and the wraps looked pretty decent for taking on the plane.

08/09/2011 — 05:30 am Dawn has yet to appear but Morning crowd of Flight Staff, Airport store Workers and morning Flyers briskly pass me by as I awake to footsteps crisscrossing around me. Morning Coffee prepares me for the long wonderous day of New Orleans at PJ’s Coffee & Tea Café. 2.5’d Stepping inside, I realize it has an opening next to Hudson Booksellers where my Barista struts slowly over when noticing me after her morning discussion session with the Bookseller staff. This place looks slightly dated too maybe from overuse or simply to match the Airport theme. At least there’s plenty of Electric Outlets. Prepared Foods looked limited but it might be early yet and next shipment hasn’t arrived? Looking at the Menu, I know I’m not in Canada anymore. Small is not even a size, so I had to think BIG. EASY now, a big beverage was enough for a tasting of the New Orleans favourite… Café au Lait Not exactly a place I felt comfortable staying for long periods of time but as the Airport Guest Services Staff suggested, I should wait until daylight to take the Bus to the city since I would be walking a distance with luggage and safety was a concern that even the Service Staff said wouldn’t travel alone in the dark. I’m in no rush, so I took sips of the Americano-like Café au Lait and people watched til the sunrise.
