Established in 1981.

Rex Heating and Air has provided Heating and AC service to the New Orleans Metro Area for over 30 years. Rex offers quality equipment with prompt reliable service. James Adams, an HVAC instructor, started RES Heating and AC. He built his business one customer at a time. Before long, REX Heating and Air became a première Heating and Air Conditioning company in New Orleans. James «Jimmy» Adams’s vision of REX still thrives with in his son Jimmy Adams, who now manages REX.

Being family owned and operated, Rex is managed by Jimmy Adams III. Jimmy worked alongside his father for the past 14 years. He brings a new youthful energy and desire to maintain the Rex Difference in the heating and cooling industry. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and Jimmy plans on continuing the level of customer service that Rex has been known for.
